This might be a long post. I love Calvin,hes funny,without him,I wouldn't watch since the season is lost.I think Worrel should stick with baseball only. This summer. Heres my breakdown(guessing) of what should go down for the rocks to be a contender in some years. First,to clear the air,they are a allstar or two very good sf and c away from finals.Not this team,or a veteran added. Ok,Since the rich boys are winning,I think they will slide down to 11th pick in draft.Plus have torontos 15th pick. I believe Darius Rice will be better than Lewis when he is 22.Hes 20 now.Lewis is 22. I dont know how you guys like Lewis so much.Was it the radio 610? We need defense,rebounds,threes,fast breaks,ball handlier.Only one of those (threes) Lewis can do well.Maybe rebounds later in his career.No defense .Its real bad.I hate Kenny,but Id rather have Kenny for his defense.Even though his is bad too. Anyways Rices' 7'5 wingspan will shut Lewis down. SO,I think whats best (if your reading org) we hope rice hits draft,slides to 11th.Otherwise trade Kenny or Mo,up for Rice.There is NO WAY at 11th we can even trade up for Amare or Woods.SO the only player left in draft thats better than lewis is rice maybe. Or we can go big and slow,Chris MArcus.He cant dunk though like shaq .SO he is a huge bust candidate. So if getting rice fails,we are FORCED to trade the pick for lewis,or odom.I perfer Lewis.SInce we have NO first rounder in 2003,and 2004(morris),we HAVE to finalize our team this summer for the next three years. Um..I think with the ticky takc ref calls,the only way to be a good defender is to genetically have long arms and quickness(rice)+ he hits threes like lewis + he is fast like marion + he should be top 5 but he is the most underrated player in draft,its becuz he is so damn skinny,but,so was garnett like a toothpick..and still is... anyways..if you saw the 2000 mcdonalds game,he dominated,miles,alton ford,tj ford,he scored 24 points and should have won mvp he could have came out in 2000 draft and been 7th pick est.. but he is a real smart kid..like straight a's and hes rich,(jerry rice nephew) so there is no reason to come out early...im hoping the rockets sice we dont have 2003 0r 2004 pick,,beg him and promise him stuff to come out ...beg ala mo taylor,shandon,..wink wink....lets make a off the record deal..
What about Micheal Doleac he better than Mihm will ever be and Cleveland would trade before Mihm at a much lower price a 2nd rounder or I hate say it my boy K9.

darius rice aint the answer. we look 2 indiana and get jaron jeffries in the draft if he goes out. this boys got more game than milton bradley. he can shoot, defend, rebound, play w/ anybody. plus hes 6 10, create some mismatches. look at the starters: franchise, cat, jaron, eddie, and we trade mo tay and kt for a good center such as my man keon clark. with that lineup, we dont needa worry bout the playoffs, worry bout the finals

We have enough young talent........we need some proven veterans. And Bill is better than Calvin Murphy in my opinion......he actually tends to think before speaking. Not saying to get rid of Murphy, but they blend well together. Is it just me, or does Calvin Murphy think he was the greatest and most intelligent NBA player to ever play the game?
Yeah. . . .TJ Ford and Darius Rice were in different McDonalds All-American Game. And Zach Randolph deserved MVP in that game, he was that dominant.
get darius rice what happen if the rocks dont get rice? plus, when draft day comes in july, are you going to stil use that name when the rocks don't select him. I think with th 2002 pick, the Rockets should select a great athlete, model citizen, somebody your kids can well, how do i say? worship? The should select Kam from uhh, Jersey Village High School...of '01.
