    My guess is that he couldn't defend Garnett on that play, so he just tried to freak him out by saying, "Hey, look at me, I'm so dainty and free".

    From looking at Garnett's expression in that pic, I think you may be onto something there. This mystery has to rank up there with the Pyramids of Giza, the lost city of Atlantis, Grand Unified Field Theory, and Who Put the Ram in the Ramalamadingdong.
