In halftime when hakeem was giving the speech and the re.retired his jersey with the "Hall of Fame 2008"

I was at that game! was an amazing game!

    Sad moments:

When Utah eliminated the Rockets in the playoffs, this year, and last year
    Also the stockton 3

Vernon Maxwell's 3 at the end of Game 7 of the 1994 NBA Finals. After so many Houston teams falling just short of very high expectations (see Oilers, Cougars, and Astros), this was the moment that I knew Houston was going to finally have a major sports championship. No other moment comes close.

    happy tears...
    a) the first championship
    b) the second championship especially watching that hug between drexler and hakeem after it was all over
    c) mario elie's kiss of death..
    d) the sampson shot
    e) the mcgrady dunk on bradley....
    f) Hakeem's block on jordan
    g)when we signed mcgrady

    Sad tears
    a) the stockton three
    b) barkley going down because of a tear.. we were so close to upsetting the jazz
    c) drexlers and hakeem's last games as they waived to the crowd
    d) when rudy t announced he was to step down
    e) the 22 game streak ending
    f) watching the look of defeat on yao and mcgrady's face at the 2005 playoffs when no one else could perform except those two.

Hey at least its not the stupid little rocket ship anymore from the 90's. Those were some dark days for the nba. When teams decided to market their jerseys and logos to 7 year olds and not adults.

I still squirt one any time I see Mario Elie's kiss of death against the Suns...and Kenny screaming out "Cold blooded!"....and Greg Gumbel: "The Rockets have knocked off the Suns, coming from behind....3 games to 1 to eliminate the Suns."

Hell I cry all the way through the "Clutch City" and "Double Clutch" tapes that I still watch today. Those 2 years were the best years of my life.

In 1994, I was 8 years old and the first and only time I cried sad tears over the Rockets was after game 5 of the 1994 NBA finals (also the OJ game) after we lost and down 2-3 to the Knicks. I thought we were done and would not be able to bounce back... so I ran to my room and cried myself to sleep like a little girl

guess i am in the majority. i vividly remember that stockton 3.

i was watching that play, and little by little i crept closer to the tv until i was about 5 inches from it, jackass hit that three, and i dropped to my knees and started crying. i put the tv on mute, then threw the remote at a wall. i don't know if my heart had been broken like that by any other sports moment..

I agree. I was sitting in a motel room in Allentown, PA watching that game. I literally could not believe it. I just sat there for like 20 minutes, in shock.
