Does anyone here watch the show Farscape on Sci-Fi Channel? If so, what's it about? I saw it once and it seemed interesting I just don't know when it comes on. Any help is appreciated.

I've seen it about 3 times. As far as I can tell it's about an astronaut thats lost in another galaxy and he is trying to get home.I think there is some kind of alien war in the galaxy he is in.

If you go to the Sci-Fi web page you could probably learn more,or just do a search for farscape.

    I'm doing that right now.

I just realized how bored I am researching a show I watched once over 2 weeks ago.

All I know about it is that the theme song sounds like the female vocal singer is being strangled. And the muppets......err puppets are created by Jim Hensons Creature Shop (or whatever it's called). I've seen a couple of the early episodes, but never really got into it.

It's pretty cool. It takes a bit to get used to; they even use their own words (guess what 'frellin' means?).

I think new episodes start up again around April or so. Maybe the season is different since it is an Aussie production.

I am not a sci fi geek. i actually hate most of those thype shows, however I try not to miss farscape. best Scifi show on TV, and definately one of the best written shows in general.

the characters are trhe best part. they have done a great job of giving everyone interesting personalities, and even the muppets make you think.

    any hoo.

Best sci-fi show on TV. The characters are very complex, and, unlike other shows, you actually care what happens to them. Furthermore, every character is flawed in some way (tragic flaws), which I think is pretty cool. The episodes are well written, the stories are great (although some are just Trek retreads), and the cinematography is damn good for a TV show. Plus, the villians! My God, the villians! Scorpius is the best villian on TV!

Well the characters are what got my attention. It did seem like it actually had a story to it and wasn't just some corny sci-fi show. I checked the web site and they start showing again in late March with a movie and the series continues in April. They have a pretty good website. Very helpful.
