    Greene sucks today
he throwed too many three-points and finsihed with 5-19
    I feel upset about him :( :(
Leunen is the best player in these 4 games(also funny Dorsey  )
    what a pity

Kind of hard to tell with his posture. He can look about Kobe or VC's height but also close to the height of Stromile Swift. I thought I remember hearing Doc Rivers claim he measured Tracy at 6'9 1/2" without shoes and while that's probably an exaggeration I've also seen him listed 6'8 3/4" in shoes and that sounds right.

Don't be surprised. Greene will have more games like this than his 40 point performance. I think that performance set his expectations even higher. You got to remember that Greene was a low 1st round pick and not meant to be an impact rookie like Beasley or Rose. He's more of a project. Don't get too down on him but at the same time, don't set the expectations too high.

Yes, however, Greene is also a lottery potential player. He could have gone in the lottery, but was one of those guys who just slipped. This years draft was very, very unique because there were so many players who have star potential (including Greene). I don't view him as a "traditional" low draft pick, thus I don't set my personal expectations so low.

Geez mycmyc2003, you should have just a tad bit more faith in our rookies and give them a chance. Sounds like you are down on them already and they haven't played one real NBA game yet. Sucks.

don't be too hurry to judge
but I think he should not always throw the ball near the 3-points line
    be a rookie,he plays good.
T-mac,will you please teach this young guy :p kidding

I do agree with that mycmyc2003. Greene does need to take less three pointers and utilize the mid range more. This is something he is going to have to learn and a habit he will have to break. I believe there is a good chance he will break that rookie habit. Here is to hoping.

Don't get too upset. He is a young rookie with tremendous upside. The fact that he dropped 40 in a game lets you know he's capable of scoring in bunches. This is SL, so you cant base evaluations on a single. You have to look at the raw talent, capabilities, strengths and weaknesses and coach them accordingly. If I were a betting man, I say Greene finds minutes this year.

A game? I'll take it! :D . I'm a realist, I don't think he will be a major factor this season, but has the ability to crack the rotation if we have bench scoring issues. He's got talent, but is a project. He'll get some minutes when we are blowing teams out.

Perhaps we shouldn't treat draftexpress as if it were the Bible because I don't care what they say. Shoe or no shoes Tracy McGrady is taller than 6'6

Draft Express only lists their initial pre-draft measurements. T-Mac was barely 18 when he was measured. It's not impossible for him to have grown a couple of inches since he was 18.

I'll take it as long he is getting it on 4 to 6 shots a night... I like the kid, hopefully he can crack the rotation, find his niche and grow as the year goes on.

I just know that Greene's overall summer league performance makes me feel better about having dumped Gerald Green and all that potential. First of all, Donte will probably be enthusiastic about playing in the D-league for a while and improving his game, while Gerald would have balked at being demoted. And some good coaching will get Donte to realize the value of being more selective with his shots, while it doesn't appear so far like Gerald responds very well to coaching.

Greene has natural talent and in a few years would be great. He has also shown ability to hit the long bomb, to drive to the bucket and to listen to the coaches. He was letting rip the 1st few games from long distance but the last game, he dialed it down to only 3 attempts. That is showing restraint and learning from the teachings of his coaches.

He may not be much help this up coming season but he may be our next major piece in a few years. DM did well :p
