A Hakeem( in his prime) type center + Mo=Potential Championship because of the strength of "Hakeem".

A fully fit Mo could fire away his mid range jumpers and pull out rival fours making it even easier for a "Hakeem" to cause havoc in the post.

No player in the league now is playing better than Hakeem did in his prime.

The Hakeem choice shouldn't be offered because there is no such thing. With that said I'd take Lewis and lose Mo.

    Hey buddies,

The term "hakeem " was meant cuz I think Stoudomare will be like him someday(in 7 years).

I was curious.DO you want a lewis now,and gut the team(lose picks and mo)+ have cato at center for 3 more years.(lewis aint that good btw)

Frankly Im shocked no one chose the second option. What good is it to have a kenny at small forward, and eddie at pf and a dominant center.Would rudy's infinate wisdom have steve and cat do nothing all game except stand on three point line and throwit into center?.There would be no fast breaks hardly ever.Teams would still run us out of the building.(like marion almost did tonight)

WIth steve and cats speed(which i dont want to waste) id pick a pippen(prime) player over a dream .Remember dream didntwin it alone,he had awsome three point shooters. We dont have that now.We have NOTHING.We are not a good rebounding team, fast break team, three point team, low post .

Actually I think rudy is so bad even if we added pippen, dream, jordan, they would still stand still and watch other teams grab the offensive rebounds.

I like Amare Stodemire. Not as much as Yao Ming, or Lamar Odom, but I get your point. Drew Gooden and That Coaches' Son (duke curse) also good, but...errr

I'm not sold on Rashard. Something is telling me there's a problem.

Who is our team right now? Is it steve, cuttino, griff?, and moT? Well, in a perfect world, I'd add Shaq. Or if not him, maybe KG. Or if not him, maybe Duncan. etc. What's the same here? What's
missing? A strong, inside, low-post presence, rebounding force. They can play without one, with a rebounding, passing, scoring 3 (Odom, Abdur Rahim, Marion), but it takes more basketball smarts to play that way. Even bird has McHale and Parrish, no slouches. The Pistons frontcourt was pretty darn good, don't forget. They held up fine against Kareem and AC Green and James Worthy, you may or may not forget. That inside option is sorely lacking on this team, whether it comes from the 3, 4, or 5.
