I like AudioGalaxy for music myself. If you want videos, documents, etc. then I would try WinMX.

AudioGalaxy is pretty good. It's kinda hard to find out what bitrate you are download though (at least I have a hard time finding it).

Thx for the winmx tip.....just installed it and it seems good.

I used to use AG but I didn't really like, the whole online page thingie, that much.It also seemed like a lot of the music became harder to find.I stopped using it a few months back.

I installed Gorkster and disabled the spyware.

It's exactly the same as morpheus was.

I tried Audio Galaxy, but to me its too hard to download, and I always would get errors and all that.

Limewire is the best alternative I have found. Easy to use like Napster, and they have had almost every song I have searched for. Just download the software at www.limewire.com and be sure to get the free version.

    Works for me.

With Audiogalaxy, you can select which bitrate to download, can't you?

If you liked morpheus just get Kazaa (search kazaa at download.com). Its exactly the same as Morpheus, just with different colors. It also gets about the same numbers of search results. I've been experencing faster speeds since I started using it too.

.....Or get Gorkster.Gork is also the same exact thing as morpheus and kazaa.

Kazaa and gorkster both contain spyware but it is easy to disable.
THIS link provides all the d/l info and instructions to get rid of the spyware.

Yeah it does suck. No bitrate, estimated download time, or time of song.

Thanks DARO!!! I just followed the instructions on the link you provided and Grokster is exactly like Morpheus used to be.

I tried the Morpheus preview but found it rather difficult to navigate, so I uninstalled it and went with Grokster.

If anyone is still looking around, Grokster is the way to go IMHO.
