I wanted to shed some light on the new Nike Hyperdunks sported by KB24 and inspired the Nikes from Back to the Future II. 350 pairs were sold almost instantly (some are now for sale on eBay for as much as $2,000), a hundred of them at the UNDFTD shop in Santa Monica, where L.A. Lakers' megastar Kobe Bryant arrived in a DeLorean time machine to be greeted by hundred of fans, some of them camping outside for more than 24 hours. Seriously, Kobe does it in style... Big time crowds... Close up... The originals Nike MAG 2015 for you 80's babies... http://gizmodo.com/photogallery/kobebryantnike/1002534538
Pretty weird. Kinda funny that Brent Barry made this BTTF reference earlier this year during the Lakers series: http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/...3008.4D.BKNspurs.lakers.notebook.40511f6.html Brent Barry advises Spurs fans to head back to AT&T for an overtime period. “I've got Doc Brown out front with the DeLorean,” Barry said before Game 5 at Staples Center, recalling the “Back to the Future” film series about a scientist who turns a DeLorean automobile into a time machine. “We're going to fire up the flux capacitors, go back in time and shoot a couple of free throws.”
kinda funny that one of those loser L.A. fans is wearing a "Boston Sucks" t-shirt in yellow after getting their asses handed to them on a platter by the likes of Rajon Rondo, Leon Powe, and James Posey... myopic Laker fans
I always thought they were pretty cool looking. I bought a pair that were colored the same way for my Marty Mcfly costume one Halloween and ended up using them as my regular shoes. The color was so neutral it went with everything. Their height is a little much. Mine weren't even basketball height. More like cross trainers.
The price youll pay is around $1400 I think. They were on eBay a few days ago. Only 500 made I believe. but then again, if you pay that much money for shoes I dont think youll WEAR them... just have them to look at I guess.
Looks like a boot you'd wear for a broken foot. Mostly because of the straps. Buy your $1400 broken foot boot strap. Oops the 80s ones. New ones look good.
I believe those are the folks not affected by the economy & can drop several G's on shoes they will never wear
the ankle support looks great on those, maybe reebok should design something similar for our yao. I prefer the ferris beuller's nike dunk.
