Seems like us and the Spurs...

Why are all these other teams allowed to get alternates and new jerseys and the Rockets stay the same every freaking year.

Our jerseys are hideous, well the home ones anyway, our road are okay....but im hoping and praying we go with something new soon, jersey, logo, everything since we still have had no luck in this current logo and jersey style. I prefer retro rockets with more update on a laker style jersey. I like how they're jerseys sleeves and neck look.

Don't the Spurs have a silver alternate? That might just be their throwback... Guess there's always the "Los Spurs" variation.

Remember during the pinstripe years when everyone wanted a red alternate and green teams Seattle and Detroit got one?

That black fan-made design floating around seems like such a no-brainer. I wonder why Les hasn't milked it.

Nobody cares T-Wolvs any more regardless how good their uniform looks,
unless they put Adriana Lima on the court in place of Jaric :)

I thought there was some sort of ruler about not allowing anymore black alternate jerseys (or black jerseys period)?

Really? If that's the case, maybe that's why every single team is switching to a faded/pastel blue color scheme.

I'm thinking that the Magic, Knicks, Raptors, Grizzlies, Bucks, and Jazz also don't have alternates. Orlando used to in the Penny/Shaq days, and Toronto's current road uni was their alternate until last season. I don't think Dallas uses those horrible green things nor does San Antonio use those aluminum foil looking alternates anymore either.

There was a David Stern-imposed league-wide moratorium on the usage of black due to the "gangsta" image it might convey. (Ex. Iverson in the Philly Black jersey) This moratorium was imposed a few years ago when Stern was concerned about the league's image presented by the players, thus the "dress code" for non-game related activities. This moratorium also killed black alternate jerseys for Houston, NY, Toronto, Orlando, and Boston. In Boston's case, the concept was scrapped altogether for their current alternate set, green jersey with black numerals and side panels.

But now, it appears the league maybe rethinking its position on this moratorium. the Wizards just recently got a black alternate jersey (albeit half-black/half-gold) and now Toronto will have a black alternate jersey for this season.

Furthermore, there will be the following changes.

The Hornets, Timberwolves, Magic, and Kings are all getting new uniforms.
The Heat will have a new secondary logo.
The Nuggets will have changes made the their primary logo (Royal Blue Mountains), as well as the elimination of the DN logo and the slight addition of Royal blue to there home and Road uniforms (on side panels). The pick-axe logo will be added above the nameplate on the back of the jersey.
Along with a new alternate jersey, Toronto will have new secondary logos along with a recolored matching primary logo, thus ending "the Purple Reign" altogether.
The Bobcats will have new secondary logos and a "5 year Anny" logo.
The Sixers will have a "60th Anny Logo"

    Sadly, Nothing for the Rockets
