sup guys, heres a video clip that i made as a tribute to tracy. i was bored so i wanted to do something fun to past the time, took about a day. hope you guys enjoy it and thx for watching. oh, and make sure you guys watch it in High Quality. http://youtube.com/watch?v=JWIy3liZRvE
yah, i dont really know how to use sony vegas so i used wmm instead. keep it basic until i have time to learn something new.
hey mate, great vid! Awesome mix of great tmac plays from this last year. But one thing, how come the aspect was stretched on the vid, it looks like all your source was WS anyway, and it is letterboxed on youtube? weird, is that something windows movie maker made it do? I for one can't wait for next season, I just have this tingle that after the Olympics warm up for Yao, and Tmac workin hard in the off season, we're gonna have a special year! Go Rockets!!!
thx for the feedback. i actually got a bunch of these clips from one of the threads on this forum a while back. all of which were really high quality and they were already in widescreen format + letterbox. i just used wmm to fuse the clips together, add some music + transitions and it turned out pretty nice.
nice vid, so really you used WMM? I used the same thing for my T-mac's 07-08 dunks vid a couple weeks ago and it gave me a few random green flashes during the video. That didn't happen to you?
Watching this makes me realize how unathletic we are without McGrady. It's scary.I'm also concerned how long can McGrady sustain his athletic ability especially with his history of injuries. We need more size, athleticism, skills and smarts. Adding Yao won't be enough to compensate for it either. This is not an argument about having athletic but lazy and dumb players like Swift,Snyder vs Battier,Rafer and Barry but an observation based on present and future challenges. Adding a rookie like Greene might be useful in the long term provided if he is willing to work hard and learn to play like a professional. People will argue that we were better than Portland,Denver and GSW. All those teams have their own unique problems which can be exploited but I honestly believe that we can't become a true threat without the addition of a 3rd star who can play at multiple positions or a couple of semi-stars who can have a similar cumulative effect. Thanks for the video.
Random green flashes? oh really, i never got any green flashes. i have a fairly decent computer with a nice graphics card so that might of helped with the video editing.
Man we need T-Mac to stay healthy. on a side note as much as we kill Rafer dude can throw a lob with the best of them. Not as easy as it looks.
8:07 - dunk on the pistons is probably my fav dunk of the video b/c rip hamilton is doing reaching fouls all over tmac which gets tmac mad and makes him go in for the drives and dunks it right in front of jason maxiell's face
i think adding donte and dorsey hopefully will change that. adding landry last yr allowed us to see what a difference SOME athleticism will do for this team. i think it has taken the team 2-3 yrs to finally get some right talent around our duo and finally it's there. just need to stay healthy
Nice video, and good quality. Also love how its divided into sections. Good compilation of some of T-Mac's best plays this past season.
Great video! I'm glad there are still a few Rockets fans out there that admire and appreciate T-Mac rather than spend 20hors of their day thinking about a way to trade him. I understand the frustration, though. If he were in Sacramento, I imagine how excited the city would be to have another superstar, either him or Yao. They would unite our city and get the franchise back on it's feet! 2 Superstars? totally unfair.
Excellent video. Very impressive how T-Mac led the Rockets to an 18-7 record when Yao went down and a 20-10 record when Yao went down the year before that.
I like your points,Donte and Dorsey definitely can help like Landry, but we need more experienced players who are athletic, skilled and hard working as well. Health of course is an absolute must like you said but having Battier,Barry and Rafer isn't going to be enough to make us an elite team IMO. I know management is looking to make a big trade later in the season but we all know how hard that is going to be. Just imagine how much pressure we could be under if Tracy goes down for a long stretch, and we are left with Battier at the 3,and Barry at the 2.I think it's really a lot to expect Donte to be able to pick up such a big role as a NBA scorer so quickly.
