You don't get it! Because Obama contradicted himself on the surge issue, he can't be trusted with any aspect of being president. McCain on the other hand invented the surge, so he's the only one that knows how to be president. The surge is all that matters!

The surge was effective at lessening the extreme violence temporarily.

But it has done NOTHING to stop the hatred and distrust between groups in Iraq.
