    That one ranks really high.

Watching Jason Lane squeeze the final out on the Astros first pennant was huge for me.

i'm not a huge texas fan, but yeah, that moment was pretty amazing. as far as the rockets go, winning the #1 pick was awesome as well as the Streak this year. Pretty much every win after the tenth in a row was magical. Lakers game was awesome.

so 10 years just to exclude everybody answering 'the championships!!!111', probably a good idea

tough to pick one... a few stand out:
    1. astros winning the pennant, even if they got rocked like the casbah at the big show, beating the cards was exhilarating, terrifying and rewarding.
    2. giants super bowl victory has to go up there. i'm not really a fan, but i support usurping the 'invincibles' whenever possible. screwed bean town and plus, that was one hell of a game.
    3. texas over usc.
    4. tmac2therack's tmac scoring like 60 points and dropping 15 dimes on the jazz, damn son thats work. real impressive.

Hakeem's last game (and many games from that season) as a Rocket is up there. The first game he went nuts after a rough start to that year was great. Against the Knicks maybe?

The most recent Super Bowl is definitely up there as well.

I really enjoyed the Holiday Bowl when Major Applewhite came back and UT beat Washington also. He would've beaten Colorado had Chris Simms been pulled sooner.

Even though we eventually lost the series, Kent's HR in Game 5 of the 2004 NLCS was it for me. The bat toss, the helmet toss. The town was on fire.

I'll have to add GSW upsetting dallas and the giants superbowl win. nothing like defeating the evil foes.

Off the top of my head without thinking too hard,

1A When VY's touchdown run defeated ESPN's anointed team

1B When the Giants scored the TD to beat the Pats

Both made me extremely happy. I guess the Giants score blew me away more because I remember telling my son, "There is no way Eli Manning is going to lead the Giants on a last minute touchdown against the Pats. No way in the world."

It would have to be the Penrith Panthers winning the 2003 national Rugby League premiership in Australia.

Penrith isn't a great club, we produce a lot of great players but have under achieved terribly. I like to say for my sins in a past life, I've been made a Panthers fan in this life.

We finished last in 2001, not much better in 2002 and at the beggining of 2003 our first four games of the season were disgraceful.

Then, it was like someone flicked a switch. We went on something like a 12 game winning streak and finished the 24 game season as Minor Premiers (The best team of the regular season).

In the finals we took on all the teams supposed to beat us, and in the final we took on one of the galmour clubs that everyone hates.

It is said that the 2003 Grand Final was the best ever, and I have to say, I was so excited through the whole thing that I was worried I'[d have a heart attack.

I NEVER ONCE felt like we wouldnt win the Grand Final in 2003 once we started our winning streak. We just had something, an x factor, think the Rockets in 1995s playoffs, we just had that extra something.

It was just amazing, I'll never forget it as long as I live. :)
