We can't sign and trade Landry. So I'd give up Battier, Brooks and Jackson expiring. That's more than fair for both sides and beneficial to both teams.

I'd do it.. even without Landry qualifying.

If you can get All-Star talent for non-All-Star talent in this league, you do it, no brainer.

hell yea. The only prob is Artest only has one year on this contract, so for real value, we need to get him to agree for an extension.

Yes, you have to do that trade: one bird in hand is better than two in the bush.

If that offer is on the table, you've got to do it. Quality is more important than quantity.

    omg are you people dense?

    The trade isn't even possible.

We CANNOT sign and trade Landry. Period.

Can someone find the link that says this so this thread can be ended. Please?

Yea although i would like to keep landry i would do it because we're talking about ron artest here offense plus tenacious defense you cant lose with this guy. The rockets cannot be worried about his off court problems if we want to contend in the west. Its not the fact that he could get us over the top he will get us over the top. Morey get it done we need that consistent 3rd scorer

This might be a more doable scenario:

Brooks, Hayes, Bjackson, 2nd Round Pick for Arest + Filter...
