Cindy ran up 750,000$ on her American Express in one month of shopping.

The average american wants to vote for someone he can have a beer with. Not some guy who has never been on the internet and whos wife goes on 6 figure shopping sprees.

John McCain's wife comes from a family that's loaded. I wish I could do the same.

She also got a prenup to keep John McCain from gold digging. lol.

For instance, in the June issue of Vogue magazine, Cindy McCain said she favors suits made by the German designer Escada, which typically retail for around $3,000 a pop. If she becomes first lady, she told Vogue she may switch to an American designer, possibly Carolina Herrera, whose suits are comparably pricey.

Carolina Herrera clothing is all made in Spain ;)

Cindy Lou Hensley McCain has the kind of deep pockets that American families can rally around.

It's not really that important, but should be kept at the ready if the GOP wants to throw out the snob, or elite arguments.

Other than that it isn't really an issue.

Especially with the dollars she's about to receive for Anheuser Busch being sold to InBev.

My father always said that if he married again, he'd marry a nymphomaniac who owned a liquor store.

Man do these filthy rich people even have limits on their cards? And why did she even use a credit card? Isn't credit card meant for people who can't afford much to have credit to get loans? But for her, why couldn't she withdraw money from her huge account?

Well it just shows what an elitist McCain actually is. His familiy has over a hundred million dollars. McCain has had federal health insurance every second of his life. He went from the military one month to being a Senator.

Your credit limit is raised every time you spend a lot and pay it off. I imagine she has her own American Express rep that just approves anything over her nominal limit. Rich people and smart people use credit cards like electronic money. You only need to carry one little card in your cute little cocktail purse; you can't get robbed, and you get a full itemized printout of everything you spent. You get perks and concierge service with your card and air miles to use on your first class upgrades.
