I called today to see how many were available...apparently plenty. What should be a big deal probably won't be. It's like, "Oh, Hakeems back? Yawn." Anyone going especially for this? Speaking of The Dream...I wonder how disappointed he is to be on a team below .500. Although in the East that makes you a contender. os
Actually, he was recently activated from the injured list along with Vince Carter. So, the game should be a good one now. I am going now cuz i got someone to come in for me at work.
$hit...i bought my tickets right when they went on sale online back in october...for some reason, i thought the tix for this game would be sold out in a couple of hours...but then again, this is houston...
That game's on my birthday so I'm going to do my best to go. I can't wait to witness the Dream/Cato match up. I just hope that Dream can get more than 15 min and a few touches.
Guys, When is that damn ticket office open at Compaq? Every time I drive by there, the place is closed, can I just get Rocket's tickets anywhere? The reason I ask is because I hate getting tickets through ticketmaster due to the Will Call issue... So a couple questions... 1) When is that office open? 2) Where else can I purchase Rockets tickets?
That's going to be an interesting game. Who to root for? Its always good when the Rockets get a solid win, but if they lose they help their draft position. Plus I want to see Hakeem play well. And, the Raptors certainly could use a win - they are in th eperfect position given the pick they owe us, but are in danger of letting a team like Indiana kick em out of the playoffs and making thisyear's pick protected. I guess it wont matter who wins.
i was pretty bummed out when Toronto came to NY and he was on IR...I would have liked to see him play up close once more
JayZ....we have the Raptor's 1st round pick next year unless its a lottery pick? I didn't realize that.
Ive only seen it open right before games. You can buy tickets to future games on a game night. Ticketmaster sucks with their $4-$5 "convenience charge"! WTF is a convenience charge? It would be much more convenient for me if they didnt have the convenience charge to begin with.
I wanna pay big bucks to see a washed-up icon who should have retired 7 years ago. I say we give him a standing ovation if he actually catches a pass, doesn't trip on his own feet, or scores more than 4 points.
Wow, some of you people are so pathetic, it's scary. Anyway, I had the same misfortune as you NJRocket. When the Raptors came to Seattle, both Hakeem and Carter were out. What a huge disappointment that was.
Let's see...7 years ago would be...hmmm...our second championship year. Yeah he was a has been that year. Chucky Brown carried that team to the title. Dude, your posts really suck.
Not only will I not get tickets to see the game, I may not watch this game. I still mourn the loss of Hakeem, and I can't bear to root against him. However, he's not a Rocket any longer so I can't root for him either. It's a personal dilemma. Here's hoping the Rockets win despite a great game by Hakeem.
