Joey wont play till he gets PAID. no biggy, I'm sure he'll get al least 2 games in. If I find a good stream going then I'll post it up for sure. I got ya'll back.
I don't see him playing at all. I think the Rockets are waiting to see if anyone is going to sign Landry to an offer sheet, or just wait for Landry to get that MRI and sign. They don't want to have to dip into their MLE to sign Dorsey, only to have another team offer Landry the full MLE or close and we won't have the cash to match.
Does anyone know where I will be able to watch Rockets regular season games? I've been forced to follow them on NBACourtside Live text commentary as I'm not in the USA and only have ESPN and they only show like 1 selected NBA game per day...which means they show like 1 Rockets game every month or half a month. I know this might not happen but I thought I post it anyways. What happens if no team tries to sign Landry to an offer sheet? His agent then decides to pull a Anderson Varajeo move where he waits till after the season hoping the Rockets won't match. At one point or another the Rockets will want to sign Joey. I know he is going to get his contract before the start of training camp so imagine this is the strategy that some team that might really want Landry might play. I know there is a HUGE possibility of not happening, but this would be quite a scenario if it did.
Or is Dorsey's agent alittle gun shy of Morey after his screw up with Landry who was the 31st pick last year and was given less dollars/less years than most 2nd round picks drafted after him. Morey dropped the ball somewhat on Landry by partially basing his worth on his subpar summer league play and leaving him as was of the last players signed on an over crowded roster last off season (the Steve Francis signing really chewed up all the dollars for Landry). I'm a Morey fan, but he kinda botched the Landry situation.
I agree with you, i think the rockets wait on dorsey and see what is going to happen with landry before they make there move. Dorsey will not be part of any minor trade, the rox are talking about. They wanted dorsey and they had to make some moves to get him. they like how he holds himself on the court and his tenaciousness he brings!
NBA.com is really bad viewing, Its not my 430 bps DSL because I tried the archives which are not a bandwidth problem and they are really bad. Anyone know of a better place to view please post naismith
