Roger's team will just spin it..."that he had no knowledge of the package" ie. blame his wife... Because she did HGH not Roger... ;)

As badly as this entire ordeal has been handled, I can't believe Hardin is still Clemens' lawyer.

It depends on who's decision it was to lie from the getgo. IMO if Hardin gave him that advice, he would have been gone a long time ago. If Clemens made that decision despite recommendations from counsel, it's his own fault and Hardin will stick by him no matter how ridiculous this becomes.

At what point does Roger Clemens become a bigger joke than Pete Rose? Has that already happened? Maybe it's time for a poll. Has a player or ex-player ever flamed out so spectacularly?

Clearly, it was for his wife. Perhaps a pet. Rusty Hardin will set the record straight and file an additional lawsuit before day's end.

"I can't imagine that there's any truth to that at all," Hardin said. "We'll find out one day Roger never received or took the stuff."

That's gotta be one of my favorite lines from that article. Ranks right up there with the whole Canseco party and nanny fiasco.

Clemens is such a freakin' idiot...he should of just admitted the truth from the beginning or stayed quiet.

Based on this paragraph, Clemens' wife can definitely step up to clear up the case for him. The question is then: will Clemens' wife come forward for him considering all the recent rumors about the adultery relationships Clemens has been involved in.

Don't all athletes wife deal with cheating on a regular basis?

And besides, the last time I checked, Clemens is still really, really rich.

Yeah, I was going to say, the odds that Debbie Clemens didn't know about her husbands infidelity until the recent reports is pretty slim, in my opinion.
