This is the best action movie I've seen since I saw the Matrix at the theater. It is everything you want in an action movie.

Heath Ledger deserves an Academy Award nomination or at least a Golden Globe nomination. He was absolutely BRILLIANT and not just in an evil villain way. He was amazing.

The movie was seriously dark. There were moments that reminded me a little of The Crow, but it was a freaking thrill ride. I had a blast.

Thanks to Clutch for helping me snag the passes. :D

I should note that my girlfriend really enjoyed it as well. But, she likes the action movies, so not sure if all the ladies will be into it. :)

My sweetie doesn't like violence that isn't integral to the plot, but give her a great flick and she doesn't care. She's loved films from A Clockwork Orange to 300 (I think it was the buff dudes in it, but whatever floats her boat!). Cool that you both were blown away. We'll try and see it this weekend.

A lot of critics are saying the violence in the movie is really gruesome and should NOT take any children.

    That sounds awesome

The scenes they are talking about are mostly implied violence.

They don't really show it, but you get the drift of what just happened and it is pretty gruesome.

Do NOT bring children to this movie. As moes said, it's not that the violence is overtly gruesome -- it largely isn't. It's that it is freaking dark and scary and intense. There's nothing about this movie makes me think children would even really enjoy it. I just think it's too extreme for them.

Teenagers, sure. Kids younger than that are pretty much guaranteed to have nightmares and to be very freaked out.

Unfortunately Spider Man 3 was crap. After 1 and 2 were so good too. :(

Only five more hours to go!

I have to wait until Sunday because our group wanted to watch it on IMAX but when we checked Monday, the Friday and Saturday showings were sold out

But it'll be worth the wait...

I bet the third one won't be able to live up to this one...I hope Nolan blows us away in the third one
