LOL. Sometimes it seems that if somebody dropped a banana peel on the floor, it would scurry toward whoever is closer, Yao or T-Mac.

Love the banana peel joke, that was cool.

Everytime you hear a "rumor" it ends up being true for the most part. I'd hate to see T-Mac go even though he does have issues now and then from a health perspective, but man he does show up during play offs and I'm sure we all know why.

Superstar for a superstar period. T-Mac (like it or not) Is a super star.

Funny how everyone goes nuts over rumors though. Like they are going to read the boards here and changer thier minds ?

    uh,....no comes to mind.

then why not take Rip back along?Attach bjax to tmac as a package,Rip is a sized guard yet has no muscle.Tmac is bigger and heavier than rip,why won't pistons give up a slim guy for a stronger tmac even though tmac is easier to get injuried.Take Maxiell if possible, he can make up the missing piece left by landry .

I liked when Wizard Walt Williams brought out the long socks.

Dont most of your generic high school age kids over in the US wear the long socks to play ball?

over here you only do it if you want to be a clown.

there's usually 1 kid on every other team that wears them, and he usually is the one who everyone aims to foul hard or dunk on.

Give me Rip and Prince and I would do it...but I'm not too crazy about Billups. I think Prince/Rip is more 'spreading the wealth' around Yao (a healthy Yao, although I doubt that will be the case for an entire 82 game season), and I think that's more 'fair value' for a guy the calibre of a T-Mac. As SAS said himself, there is a lot of interest around the league in a guy like McGrady.

As I've said before, offer up McGrady on the market and the Rockets will have plenty of interest and offers to choose from. Don't half-heart it or you might end up getting only half-assed trade proposals (although Prince/Billups certainly is a respectable one, just not one to my liking).

I'm not sure about this trade.

I don't think we're gonna with crap with T-Mac, and Rip and Billups have proven thy can win, so thats a positive.

It would be a major boost to our depth too.

I worry about their age though. How many good seasons are you gonna get out of them from now on?

I think we could probably get more for T Mac because some stupid team will be dazzled by his big numbers in soft games.

If that was true 80% of the players in the NBA will be playing for a different team right now. Just go and check Hoops world and you'll see.

Now you are on to something. Rip would replace some of what we lose with Tracy. Plus, he isn't sliding on the downside like Chauncey is. Rip is the one player we MUST have from the Pistons if Tracy is involved. If we threw in Francis, Jackson and maybe AB, I might even consider Rip and Chauncey for Tracy.

Regarding the proper way to offer Tracy, I'm not sure the Rockets can just throw him on the open market without backing themselves into a corner. You don't want to burn that bridge until you are safely on the other side.

The only way we make this trade IMO is if its for Prince and Rip. This offense is taylor made for Rip.

Then go ahead and trade Battier and any one of Scola, Landry, Brooks and expirings for Artest and were instant contendars.

    Refer
    Rip
    Prince
    Artest
    Ming

    NICE!

artest is your PF? utah would easily beat that team once again bro. look at the matchups. that team wouldn't be top 6 in the west.

Your right, that line-up wouldn't work. Prince and Artest are both more natural 3's one of them could come off the bench. We could definitely plug one of the remaining power forwards that we don't trade, and I think we would have a very good shot at being top 6 in the west.

if we kept scola, that'd be a good lineup, barring ANY injuries. if yao goes down, i don't htink we'll make hte playoffs with that lineup though.

that's with tracy. he still demands double teams. no one in that lineup outside of yao demands a consistent double team.
