I figured pointing out the Yao Ming jersey would get a little more attention.

    Ping Pong Playa

It looks funny, but the guy doing the voice over is the annoying guy they use for a lot bad comedies.

Didn't we already have a crappy ping pong comedy recently? Didn't Balls of Fury fill the quota?

Haha... I'd watch this. Doesn't look like it's available for public consumption though.

I guess you could complain to the writers, Jimmy Tsai (the main character) and Jessica Yu (the director).

This has been getting some positive buzz on the festival circuit. You guys are all comparing it to Balls of Fury because it's about Ping Pong but this movie is more in the vein of Napolean Dynamite. It's not a Ping Pong movie, it's about this goofy gangsta wannabe guy.

That was part of it. How come all the asian kids these days try to be so "gangsta?" What happened to originality? Why can't they copy someone else-like hippies for example. (like me)

    That looks terrible.

Also - having a Rockets, Spurs, and Suns jersey just doesn't make sense.

Looks like a lame cross between Balls of Fury and Malibu's most wanted. But that bit where the guy kept on correcting his name was spot on. I also have a chinese last name that has a specific pronunciation that's tough for an english speaker say perfectly. But I never bother trying to correct someone's pronunciation.

My sound wasn't on when I watched it. It looked hilarious. Try it with no sound.

Come on Jason...relax. I am asian too. It's only a movie and what you are doing just reinforces the stereotype that we are sensitive.

The point of having a trailer is a marketing tool to get a general idea of what the movie looks like for the general public... The trailer is very misleading and as for indie films go, they are better than most hollywood movie blockbuster... Go and google "The Duplass brothers"...
