i think he's gonna be the best player of this draft. he's the guy with the best work ethic of all the lottery picks.

Is it just me, or does Mike Harris play WAY differently when the games dont count?

He's a MUCH, MUCH better player in SL and preseason. And it's not just the lower level of competition. It's also the way he plays.

He's taking 3's, driving to the basket, looking for cutters...but during the regular season, all he does is post up or look for scrap points.

He has a nice 3 point shot, but he doesn't take it at all during the regular season.

Good game by Donte. I'll be waiting for him to have an off night as far as shooting. I'd like to see the shot selection he chooses when his shot is off. Great start!

Donte is a beast! I can't wait for Dorsey to get on the floor. Hopefully we're not having contract negotiations problems with him like we did with Landry.

Mike Harris has been working all summer to lose weight, get a 3 point shot, and on his cutting ability. He was used more as a 4 last year, and he is trying to become a 2/3 to get a solid role in the rotation.

you do appreciate the work harris puts in so he can crack the rotation, but i just don't see him as a 2/3.

Gotta get that contract signed first. Greene signed just in the nick of time for tonight.

I don't think that's it. I bet he doesn't sign until Landry does, that way we can use part of the MLE to offer the 3rd year (a la Novak). They're not going to risk signing him with it now and have a team offer Landry the full MLE, knowing the Rockets can't match.

no, second round picks are trying to prove to teams they're worth signing. it's not uncommon for them to be waived during training camp/pre-season games. he's either injured or sick.

I don't think it's necessory for him to sign contract to play in summer league. So many players play without a contract. Why him?

I knew this kid was gonna get his shine on. Don't be surprised if he gets early minutes at the beggining of the season. I dont think he will be the next Rashard Lewis I know hes gonna be better. :D

I missed the game but, just looking at Greene's stats...what the hell!!

Is this for real, or is this some kind of summer league fluke? Does this kid really

have as good an offensive game as his stats show?

Just plain smooth, 1st quarter he scored 19 points. He shot lights out, showed better shot selection this game than what he was expected to have, created shot attempts for the others, got a nice alley-oop, and he gave Leunen just a great pass at the end.

from clutch's highlights, greene's stroke is very smooth.

now i want to see dorsey. if he's anything close to lewis with a basketball, then we've found our 2/3 backups
