but stilll, he's on par to break a summer league record for scoring...that has to mean something...i really think his game could transfer to the NBA because of his height and all..he could really contribute...i mean c'mon no one expected Landry to contribut like he did last year, so u never know

Don't get too over-excited. The 15 minutes on the box score is only up to 1H, I believe. Greene played 10 minutes or so in 1Q, and another 5 minutes or so in 2Q.

Brooks was the Summer League MVP last season. Wait until you see him in the NBA before you make a real judgment.

If Greene gets on the floor in the regular season, he should play alongside of tmac and yao, he will get his looks. He better work on his D though, cuz Tmad aint gonna be guarding the other teams' best perimeter player.

Damn its a couple of minutes to end the 3rd quarter and Donte Green already have 36 pts!!! He scores soo effortless. It kinda look like the way T-Mac plays

I like Robinson at the point. Watch how he seems to be more under control than Brooks. And he plays better D without fouling. He got trapped and quickly found the open man. He has better vision than Brooks.

more than likely we will see Barry and Greene on the floor at the same time when Greene works his way into the rotation. That was the problem with our bench, after the James,Bonzi/Jackson trade we didn't have enough scorers on the bench. Barry and Greene would be a nice combo on the floor together.

How common is it that someone drops 36+ in a Summer League game? Never payed attention to the SL in the past.

We have to remember that these are still damn good players regardless if its the summer league. This is like the College All-Stars so not too shabby for Green but he still has to prove himself in the NBA. My point is that the Rockets said he was probably a project player

Go look at the stats Novak puts up in the D League and then see what he does when he plays an NBA game.

Greene looks great but I wouldn't put too much stock in a Summer League game. Incredibly different than the NBA.

As I said before quick guards can dominate SL because team defense is not a priority. It doesn't translate easily to the NBA. What Donte is doing does. Every non lottery GM is regretting not picking Donte right now!
