Damn, me too. Morey needs to stop sitting on his hands on that Steve Novak for Lebron James trade. SHEESH!
It's not that difficult to understand when every damn year, we end the season with T-Mac and a bunch of scrubs incapable of doing anything on their own unless fed with a spoon. This team's gaudy regular season records (which aren't even that gaudy) are the result of an unmatched intensity and focus sustained over an 82 game season. They don't make many mistakes, come to play every night, and grind you out to the death. It's admirable, but it's not getting you anywhere in the postseason when everyone steps it up a notch. This team just simply doesn't have talent. My point was that this nonsense about "leadership" is useless rhetoric. I don't care if he hasn't won anything. He can help us win. Oh stop, this is getting silly now. Are you seriously using that anecdote as evidence suggesting a Brooks breakthrough? He's a nice little player, but let's get serious. If Aaron Brooks breaking out is one of the things you're counting on to get to the next level, we might as well end this discussion.
This is one of the funnier searches of all your ridiculous posts - literally from day to day you go from saying "Bonzi must play!" to "Bonzi must be traded!" I wish it would go back further, but you have bloviated on this BBS too much even for the search function to pick up past December 2007 - before that was when you were really on Bonzi's side (when he tried to skp preseason). I give you the rise, fall and rise of Bonzi by DaDakota. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/search.php?searchid=102038&pp=25&page=1 12-1-6 Bonzi should play! 12-2006 Bonzi shouldn't have played 1-2007 rox don't need bonzi 1--17-2007 2 weeks later, Bonzi needs to be in rotation A week later, BONZI THE KILLER! A week later, Bonzi is falling out of favor oh and into february he sucks: Now BONZI MUST GO! Even JVG is right to not play Bonzi - the highest compliment! Fast forward to offseason - guess who screwed up Bonzi? JVG, that's who! Bonzi is right JVG is wrong! Bonzi was the key to the Utah series! Now here's both sides of the fence: LOL you said that all right. You said it was all bonzi's fault. Then you said it was all JVG's fault. It's like watching Federer and Nadal contest a point. Except it's DaDakota's little pea brain . . . dumping itself out on the internet in its chugging glory! Point - counterpoint!
Wait, when did the Rockets sign V-Span, Udrih, Papaloukas, Azubuike, Green, CJ Miles, Boki and Minhm?
I thought everybody knew DD was a joke? He's against Ron Artest, but makes a thread about maybe we should look into Marbury, who's a proven coach killer and cancer. All this, because he still thinks Skip isn't the answer at point (even though it's clear as day that Rafer is best suited for the job), hence his infatuation with Aaron Brooks, who's clearly not really to even be a backup PG at this point of his career. DD starts pointless threads for the most part, 92.4% of the time.
FAIL !!!! Oh come on Sam those are mostly asking if people thought Bonzi could help or were the answer...... Not that I believe in Bonzi or he MUST play, or he MUST be the answer.... And if anyone actually HITS that search link you posted, and doesn't just bother to see your inane cherry picking out of context lame arse attempt.....they will get the truth. Nice try, but, not the same thing. DD
Uh, I am listing realistic options.....that I think MIGHT help...... I would still like Azubuike....and Mihm...but we may be out of roster spots. DD
Huh? Marbury was a discussion about a released player, if Artest is released then you damn well better believe I would take him. It is amazing to me the lack of reading comprehension......just amazing. Pointless threads eh, I guess everyone has an opinion... And I believe that Morey is about right on par with my takes.....he doesn't believe in Skip either, just look at all the PGs he brought in to replace him. Meh, why do I bother, most people have never built a team or been involved in team building and have no clue......about chemistry and leadership....oh well. DD
like i said in another thread - it was a blessing that Yao was out for this series. Boozer would have abused him some more. that in itself is a mismatch in favor of Boozer some die hards are willing to think that way, but there's a difference in being a die hard and grasping reality... i agree 100%...the 22 game win streak was a feat that probably won't be accomplished by another team in another 30 something years, BUT the reality is that a team that can win that much during the regular season shouldn't get bumped in the first round...and i will say it again - without the 22 game win streak we wouldn't have even made the playoffs, and it showed in the first round we didn't deserve to be there...
Another poorly assembled argument that contradicts itself. Whether by trade or for free, if Artest will ruin the rockets' chemistry as you truly believe, and for ateam that you truly believe is on the cusp of greatness - you wouldn't want to come near him. can't have it both ways - oh wait, like we saw with Bonzi - YOU CAN AND YOU WILL 200% OF THE TIME
Take away Yao and it is only a 10 game winning streak..... Yao won the last 16 games he played......it is Yao's team..... He may not be the fleetest of foot, and has his flaws, but he is the best center in the league, hands down. DD
What are you living in the twilight zone? I said I would take on Artest if it did not require any of the top 8 rotational players, if it was for expirings only, because if it didn't work out, he could be dumped. Taking a look at a RELEASED player for the veteran's minimum is not even close to the same as trading Battier for Artest, essentially dramatically changing the team's chemistry. Clearly you guys think Artest is the answer, I am glad that Morey agrees with me. DD
The POINT is, you're harping in this thread how Artest is a chemistry killer, and all that noise, but you're open to the possibility of Marbury, who's MORE of a chemistry killer AND coach killer than what Artest 'is'
A FREE LOOK IS NOT THE SAME AS BREAKING UP THE CORE TEAM ! Apples to apples people, try to keep up. Team building and chemistry are what I am harping on, it is clear a lot of you don't understand or have no experience in team building. DD
LOL @ Morey 'agreeing with you' yet he picked up the phone line nearing the trade deadline and got into talks with Sac Town about...wait for it... wait for it... Ron Artest
Expiring contracts and maybe a 2nd rounder and/or Aaron Brooks is breaking up the core of the team for Artest?
