My god.... treeman, who'd of thought it? You've got real taste! Boddingtons out of the draughtflow is the greatest beer available in bottle/can period. It's complex, without being too funky, the co2 gives it the smoothest, creamy texture, and every now and then, I swear that I can taste apricots. I went through all the beer 'phases'. I even tried to brew my own on more than one occasion (for some reason it always ends up tasting like Nat Light or Drummond Bros.). Nothing comes close. While I feel kinda like I'm back in the 'ol Tau Kappa Epsilon house, extoling the virtues a beer like this, it is truly one of the most well-crafted mass-produced products I've ever had. treeman, you're alright by me. Pick up a couple of 4 packs of Boddingtons, and we'll go take care of Iraq together. Off topic: At one time the DEA went overboard in trying to prevent the sale of Hops plants to conusmers. This is because the plant is closely enough related to Canabis sativa that people were grafting the topps of hops plants onto the roots of the 'ol whacky tobacco. They ended up with a plant that looked, smelled, and tasted mostly like hops, but which had an effect when smoked indistinguishable from Canabis.
Now you know I really don't know just saying that beer tastes horrible. I can drink Smirnoff Ice and Zima (sometimes) but other than that beer tastes awful to me. I stay away from beer and mostly drink Paul Masson or E & J (both brandy), Seagrams (gin), and Alize, Crown Royal, Hennessey.
I think I am one of those sissy beer likers according to BK Some good ones before the winter is done: Guiness Sam Adams Winter Lager Anchor Steam Som other faves: Newcastle Negro Modelo Dos Equis (red) Bohemia Steinlager Moosehead (how someone can have Moosehead and Coors Light in the same sentence I'll never know) Creme de la creme Chimay Timmermans (Raspberry especially)
Nahh hes not a woman he just saw all that in a JZ video. On to Beer. Im a beer Snob. I admit it. I like Boddingtons as listed by others, but its not my favorite. honestly a beer is like sex with your women. every one is a bit different first of all. but also every time your with the same woman the experience is different. Sure you have your favorite. it is always really good, but sometimes its just amazing. do ya follow?? the best single pint of beer I have ever had happened to be a pint o Bass. I have also had a few amazing pints of Killians. kinda strange because I concider killians my favorite Macro brew. Bass my old stand by, but neither my favorite beer. favorites: the very first year Pete brewed a winter ale(1993)-amazing!! this is a beer that was ruined by comercial success. Guiness. well its always satisfying. sam adams has had several great varieties but the best one I had was a special cream stout. I havnt been able to find it again since. Blue Moon Belgain White. awsome bottle beer. the only way to make a better beer then Belgain white, is to make a Black and White. Yes thats guiness and Blue moon. it has a weird faint blueberry/vanilla flavour that I absolutely cant put my finger on. Ive only had this on tap once at the Bonnevue in Rhode Island. DBC knows the place Im sure. a few rules to live by when it comes to beer. and these are rules any brewer will agree with. 1. If it comes in a green or clear bottle its crap (extra suckieness for clear). 2. If they spend more on advertising their product than they do making it, they are also crap.(this actually holds for almost everything in life) 3. Smaller companies are often better(they care more about there product. they have more to gain or loose by your opinion of their product) also. if your gonna put it into your body, dont do it just for the booze. if you want booze drink vodka. if you want beer drink beer because you like the taste. ohh and i forgot. budweiser is not beer. if you are gonna drink one of those factory made beers drink Miller products. at least they have some flavor. they are the best of the worst.
