Allegedly, tomorrow is Woot's birthday. The past three years they have offered Bags of Crap on their birthday. Soooo...just a head's up for you wooters who might want some crap action.
I got thru to the order processing page but I have gotten that far before and still not gotten one. I guess I will see at some point tonight whether I actually made it or not
wtf man. i went at 12:03, and it was still phones. now it s all jacked up and its telling me it sbusy, and moes19 is telling me the boc is up.
It showed up about 12:07. The page was already getting hammered at 11:58. I got to the processing page at 12:12 and I am still at that page. It tells me one is reserved and I can check back later after the order has processed. I have seen that before on April 1 and didn't get one.
I got one! It just showed up on my account page and I got my confirmation email. I was reading the woot forum and saw that it did let you choose three but a lot of people were having problems with the button. Glad I just settled for one instead of pushing the issue.
Got my 1 bag today. Sat at my local post office for a full week. I had to call to get them to trace it, to get it delivered. It showed up kinda banged up with a note saying that it was repackaged by the post office because the original packaging wasn't sealed. I thought for sure I had been thieved (and I still may have been), especially hearing some of the stories of people getting boxes with only one item that had been opened. So I open the box and inside was: 2 Marvel Comics- both were the same called something like Red, White and Black 1 Targus Memory card holder (which everyone that got a crap got one of these) 1 Samsung S1050 digital camera. It was refurbished and included some dead batteries, but it worked fine once we changed those out. It worked out even better since my wife broke our camera a couple of weeks ago and we have been looking to get a new one. All in all I was very please, got about a $150 camera for my buck.
