QUESTION: To those who think . . ooooooo he just being silly . . .being crazy . . . no jailtime . . . Is what he did worse than Stealing a Car???? Smoking Weed? Drunk Driving? IMO I think it is. Please Explain why you think it is not? Rocket River
RR, I believe we have discussed this before. Kids these days have all of these rights and privileges and zero responsibility. The kid will probably get off because a large number of adults, including his parents or guardians, will think he was just a kid who made a mistake. I'm not saying I agree with life in prison or death for what was done but punishment needs to be brought upon the people who did this.
So I just read that the parents are still waiting to see if the infant is ok. I'd vote for killing that *******, if I was king of the world.
RR, IMO on a morality scale of justice, launching an infant ten feet onto the ground is a step worse than drunk driving and only a shade shy of child molestation. Driving drunk is merely a potential disaster, and I'm not arguing about that specifically, but the harm caused by it has a less frequent effect than the harm inflicted on 90% of infants who are thrown across a room and are almost guaranteed to be *****ed up. Theft doesn't even approach this level of despicability, even if it's lifting a car or something else of high value.
God forgive him... I also want to point out that he is not a teenager. He is 16 year old ****head with a rubber ball for a brain. He may have down syndrome himself-I mean, I can't imagine any normal human being with the mental capacity to enjoy flinging infants as an amusement, not to mention posting it online. Right? May God have mercy on his soul......
Just please Explain to me why not? Rocket River I cannot wrap my head around why he does not deserve Jail Time
1) Obama is young We like Obama because he does not feel as far away from our own reality as many of the other candidates. He feels young, he feels fresh and therefore he is relatable to us. -So was John Edwards. 2) Obama lets youth feel important Talk about a grass roots campaign! Obama asks us, begs us, and gives incentives to youth for speaking out on his behalf because he tells us we matter! Many of my friends are practically begging to campaign for him and he makes us feel great about helping him. He thanks us and reinforces the importance of the young vote—we love feeling important. - He wants your vote, like they all do. He was just a bit more aware of youth of some voters. 3) Obama pushes change, which feels like a challenge, which feels exciting Obama constantly talks about change, new beginnings and his untainted background. We love be a part of something that is new, exciting and a little counter-revolutionary or daring, so we jump on his band wagon! - I gonna go out on a limb and say candidates, like Kucinich, Paul, Mckinney, Nader, Barr, and even another moderate democrat like himself - John Edwards had platforms that push for way more change in status quo than Obama ever has. In fact, many would say Obama (backed by powerful lobbiest and PACs) is one of the safest bets in the election, since the start of 2008 primaries. I wonder why....? 4) Obama loves net-generation tools (the internet) Obama is all over the web, he has YouTube videos, online platforms, chat rooms and a blog. Many other candidates have these as well, but Obama focused his campaign on the online community early and with full force. We love tackling and reading all of his online aspects and feel he is speaking to us in our language. -You got me there. 5) Obama is good looking Isn’t there some research done that the most attractive candidate always wins? Well, Obama has grasped the votes and hearts of many young women. Obama girl flaunts her crush on Obama and has a following of her own. - Young women and even middle aged ones (moreso now since Hill is out). You got me there, too. That's a big bloc. You win..........
We should all thank youtube for giving idiots an opportunity to incarcerate themselves early before doing more damage from their actions.
I remember a few cases where these kids were racing and putting on YouTube and the local sheriff decided to bring them in for speeding charges. Well, at least you get hang yourself, instead letting someone else do it.
Poor parenting by the Mondern Adult seems to be the answer, from my research. Not that it's related to the original post, but I always get a kick out of parents who rail against sex/violence in the mass media. To me, it's practically an admission that, at least to some extent, they've allowed the television to become a parent.
Like everybody else, I agree with the main ideas in this threat. The one who jumped on the pillow should be thrown out of a driving car and the one who video taped it should have been charged. But to add something new... What is wrong with the Modern Doctor? Trauma to the skull comes to mind...trauma to the skull resulting in a fracture of the skull, which could cause a contusion to the brain...bleeding to the brain. No *****
I thought the doctor looked flabbergasted at having to explain WHY launching an infant across the room was bad, like it was crazy why she was even being interviewed about something so obvious.
