I think the offense is stagnant - a 3 who can handle the ball (like Odom or Jalen Rose) would be best, but that's just my opinion...

I have stated for the past two years this team needs a enforcer. Our interior defense is a complete joke

the problem with our offense is that when the shots aren't falling and the defense is too tight against us, we have no other options to score. A "consistant" low post scorer would give us that other option and to keep us scoring until we got out of the shooting slump...

    Where's the DREAM??

    It's called a PLAYBOOK.
As well as someone to teach some fundamentals.

None of the above. How about a better offensive scheme and a better defensive scheme because a.) our current ones suck or b.) the guys aren't or can't execute the one's Rudy is telling them to do. I'm for blaming 15 game losing streak on Steve Francis' injury ( let's pretend we won 10 of them ), we'd still be out of the playoffs. Philly had TWO starters out at the beginning of the season and they crawled back to respectability. There is nobody we're going to get in the draft that would help us immediately ( Rudy wouldn't play a rookie much unless half the team gets injured like this year) and we have three, maybe four players that other teams would be willing to trade for someone who could make a difference, and we've built our team around those players.

The difference b/w Philly and Houston is that the Sixers have a defensive presence at center, and they have one of the best scorers in the league. They also don't live and die by the 3pt. shot. And the most important, the Sixers are in the Charmin East Conference.

Low post rebounder/defender... Cato's been doing fairly well there recently. But he still can't create his own shot.

We need someone who can do both. We have no inside threat, which is probably one reason that we spend so much time dribbling on the perimeter... That didn't happen with Dream. He could score, no ally-oop pass needed.

I looked at the post for a 1hr. and here are my thoughts:

    1. Granted Cat is good, and was a runner up on the six man award. The Rox will never be a threat with him at the 2. They need a point guard with Stevie at the 2. Bringing Cat in as the 6th man. Stevie whats to play the point, in which is holding his scoring threat back trying to get more players scoring.

    2. The Rox need a 3 bad, and even if T-Moe find his game, They need to find another 3 thats well rounded.

The Rockets need to pay Texas A&M to clone Shaq. Then Les needs to sign the clone to a long term deal.

    FANS THAT ACTUALLY SUPPORT THEM.

that includes supporting the players, coaches, organization, even fans that go to games.

well basicly they need real fans, not whatever it is they have now

AMEN!!! We need our own Elton Brand. A high percentage scorer for those final four minutes when we can't buy a jumpshot or three, or free throw for that matter.

Who is out there that we could trade our draft pick for? Or maybe our draft pick and Mo T. If Mo T learned how to use his big ol body and score in the post thats my first vote but I don't think its gonna happen.

Luck with the ping pong balls. Then pick: Yao Ming. Then keep everyone currently on the roster (except Langhi and Walt), and move EG to the 3. We would then be two deep at every position.

We already have a low post scorer in MoT, who should be back sometime in March. What we need is a consistant shooter, a pure shooter, like we had in Bull (why did we give him to Char. anyway???).
