Good look DD. Maybe I'm just dumb, so someone help me out. Carney and Booth and a 1st rd pick to Minny for a 2nd rd pick?

Ok, I know Carney is a slashing, atheletic swingman that haven't lived up to his billing and Booth is a 6'11 shot blocker rebounder type. I also know Carney is 24. I also know my favorite Rox were looking at a similar styled player after they were eliminated. My next question is, where were the Rox?

    it's not a big loss.

carney can't create his own shot so how much of a difference would he have made? luther is still the better shooter, so carney might be better on d.

booth isn't a rotation player, so why add him to the roster when we have to sign deke.

lastly, early second rounders are becoming more popular than late first rounders because you usually end up with similar talent, but without the 4 year guarantee.

this isn't a deal worth going into the LT for... and possibly not being able to re-sign deke, or bring in barry.

The same luther head that can't play pg and is too small for sg? Why would they go into lt when Booth makes vet min and carney couldve be te. Carney has upside and size for his position and Booth is long and can spot yao a few minutes if needed. 2nd rd picks aren't more valuable than 1st rd picks no matter how u slice it. Brand might get hurt and philly struggles. That can be a lotto pick. The most the 2nd rd pick can be is 31. U wanna know how Detroit got the #2 pick the yr after getting the ring? They traded otis thorpe to vancuver who thought they were close. The team struggled and Detroit got the pick. Don't get it twisted, if nothing else, getting a 1st rd pick and carney was a steal for minny.

ok guys i was off an inch.i just remember hearing he was 6'10 when we were about to get him.he is not undersized in any way.he is a great defender and good rebounder and would be happy with him for a starter.god people here r annoying and way too pessimistic.

He is a 6-7 swingman who play 2/3. I remember we did have a crush on him that year (worked out twice).
But he is another "never convert potential to strength" type guy (like GG).
If we do not pay much, let's do the deal!

Never convert potential to strength type guy like GG is right.(For now).

Let's just see what Greene can do would be my advice. We have 15 spots filled right now if Deke and Dorsey/Landry are included and 17 counting Harris and Woods.
The Rockets are hovering near the luxury tax as well.

The trajectory of the ball was not the right trajectory to go through the rim. It definitely wasnt cause he was afraid of utah. Scola plays hard no matter what, nothing scares him. Sometimes he just gets a little too out of control.
