I was wondering if there were any many members here who own one. I know it's targeted towards kids but it's still a lot of fun. I've been playing this game called The World Ends With You by Square Enix (the people who also made the FF series). So far it's been about a week and I've managed to spend upwards to 40 hours on it... Anyways I love my DS and it keeps me company on the pot.
We have 3 in my household. 1 for my 9 year old 1 for my 5 year old 1 for my wife.... They love them. DD
yeah, I still play it every now and then. The supers for the new one are less powerful so it evens the playing field a lot.
Have 3 for the kids... Best advice I can give you is to purchase a R4 or a Super Card DS one for TESTING purposes. .. If you are to actually enjoy the game then you are obliged to buy it!
My son got one for his 13th birthday and he loves it. Not being compatible with WPA is just plain stupid though. I understand the DS came out right before WPA but why didn't Nintendo revamp the DS to accommodate it?
Just use WEP......that is what we do, it is plenty of security for a home network...and the DS uses it fine. DD
The World Ends With You is excellent. I know we've got a lot of RPG fans on this board. Square Enix hasn't been as sharp as they used to be, but they did a hell of a job with this one. You guys should find a way to check it out.
I mooched the DS USB adapter thingy from a friend and might have to give it back soon. Then I will switch.
I bought my daughter one for her 5th b-day and she loves it . At first she called it her "BS" . Her favorite games are Mario Kart DS, and Mario Party DS . I have come to love me some Mario Party !
