Brand reportedly inked a 5 year 82 million dollar deal with the Sixers and Maggette picked up a 5 year 50 million dollar deal from the Warriors. Brand is a bit suprising not wanting to stick around and play with BD, but I'm not suprised Maggette went where the playing time and offense suited him.

as has been said before and said again. not everyone will see this if its in a 4 page thread. and for the most part deserves its own thread.

as far as being in the "rockets" section, dont ask me about that.

Morey request answer from Barry by morning so that the Rockets can move in another direction if he decides to not come here. Also Morey is supposedly interested in Chris Anderson.....source KRIV MB

Clippers are officially no threat to make the playoffs. Things are looking up for the Rockets.

Baron Davis signs with the Clippers and Brand and Maggette are leaving that most suck for Davis, cause without them there are not likley to make the playoffs.

Agreed, the rockets don't really need Anderson.

This could bode well for a trade deadline salary dump and a chance to grab Barron Davis. A long shot, but better than no chance at all which is what I would have expected if he stayed with GS. By the way, I think GS just droipped down as a legit playoff contender. BD makes that team go and I don't see Maggette matching his contribution.

They don't have any need for Livingston with Davis signed, but they need another wing player. Maybe we can target Livingston to fix our PG issue now. 3-way trade?

Baron still loves his movie projects and Hollywood. I think he'll stay with LA over GS, even if the money is the same.
