Do you recommend this car? For the past couple months I have been searching the right car for me and I think it's Scion Tc. I just wondering how wonderful and reliable is this car before actually going out for the test drive and buying it.
I bought a white TC 2 years ago and Ive been pleased with it. I like the sunroof, moonroof on the back, Ipod compatibility and alloy wheels. The radio/CD/aux control as well as volume control on the steering wheel is great. MPG is between 29-30. Another thing I like when I bought it is that theres no negotiation. The price is what it is which reduces the stress in car buying. Plus it looks cool
I have a first generation tC. I love the car because it is economy priced by Toyota really put the time in the amenities of the vehicle. However, after a couple years now, the economy part of the car is starting to show in the form of rattles, whistles and random vibrations. Not anything that actually affects the performance and reliability of the car, but detracts from the overall quality of it imo.
I bought one in February '07. Highly recommend it. I've had no problems with it at all, still love the way it looks (I have the Flint Mica, ground kit, lip spoiler...everything else standard...added window tint). It drives great too. Might not be the fastest car you ever own, but it's got more pickup than the Civic, and i think it's nicer and more fun to drive. I get about 26 mpg on average.
I have a Scion tC. I bought the 2007 model brand new in January 2007. Best car I have ever owned, hands down. Smooth ride, great look....the entire top of the car is pretty much made of glass with the sun and moon roofs. I love it. Fuel mpg isn't all that bad either. I've been averaging 27-29 mpg on the highway using cruise control.
tcs are not "chick" cars. My brother-in-law owns one and I have a friend who will get one (soon as he lands a job). I think it's pretty compatible with both sexes.
Two years ago, my wife was interested in buying a new car, so she went along to the various dealerships looking at cars. At the Scion dealership, they drove the tC. My wife liked it okay, but not enough to want to buy it. My mother-in-law, however, fell in love and ended up buying a pretty tricked out tC. She's not had any issues with hers, and it is nice and pretty feature-rich for the price. But, on the other hand, it's a car that appealed to a 65 year-old grandmother, so....
Ha...well, neither of them are and I actually kind of like it myself except for it's a little plain and is a two-door
