lol this dude has Clippers going at #4? Did he watch a single one of their games? Even with Brand and Magette playing together near the end they still looked offensively and defensively challenged and Baron Davis won't exactly solve those problems.

If you go one step farther, you notice most of the contributing writers at this site are amateurs. It's content management blog-style. No real sports writers here.

    What? I use spellcheck.

I was skimming then I saw his comment about the clippers being set because of Deandre Jordan and Shaun Livingston.

I wasn't this dumb at 17. Though he's on par with a lot of other sports writers.

It's hard to imagine that the rockets were off the playoffs while the mavs in. the suns will not be able to get the access to the playoffs, with a new coach and an old shaq.Similarly , the mavs won't be in the playoffs with a 36 yrs old kidd, even though his name is kid . And I think Dirk is hardly a star ,looking at his jumper makes us believe that he is even older than Kidd.

Somebody needs to tell this kid to watch the game (or even scores), because he obviously doesn't.

Apr 11 PHO W 101-90 (no Yao Ming)
    Mar 21 @ GSW W 109-106
    Mar 16 LAL W 104-92
    Mar 8 NOR W 106-96
    Mar 6 @ DAL W 113-98
    Mar 2 DEN W 103-89

This doesn't include that we also have much younger team than Dallas with more potential. Also, didn't we almost finish 1st, while Dallas was the one that wasn't going to make the playoffs?

This love-wallowing in my gleeful b.s....

dont bash this article at all...the writer has a point and maybe right..

with the way our current roster is and how every other team is beefing up, its not totally out of the question that the rockets wont make the playoffs considering the fragileness of tmac and yao..

if you think otherwise, then you are just a total homer..

rockets MUST have a third star

didn't we not only make it to the playoffs but also have home court 2 years in a row - despite both mcgrady and yao missing a lot of time?

i don't see why a silly article like this from a kid deserves a thread.

funny how you stopped at 2yrs ago...why not goto 3 yrs ago where we didnt make the playoffs?

we were fortunate to have one of em still healthy while the other one was out significantly...and that 22-game win streak last yr got everyone fooled...it was a magical ride but dont bank on it happening again...plus yao and tmac played together in about half of that win streak

and the way the West is goin..all it takes is just 4-5 less wins and your out of the picture
