The Pappas family that has a hand in the restaurants is pretty small. There are TONS of "Pappas"es in the US b/c many Greeks who had longer name (like a Papayannis for example) either shortened the name for simplicity or had them changed for them by immigration officials.
http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/...gado-byron-velvick-fought-over-visit-6160.php Police: 'Bachelor' couple Mary Delgado, Byron Velvick fought over visit By Christopher Rocchio, 11/26/2007 Should they stay or should they go? That was apparently the crux of a disageement between The Bachelor sixth-season lovebirds Byron Velvick and Mary Delgado that eventually led to Delgado's arrest on a domestic battery charge by Seminole, FL authorities. Delgado and Velvick were at a friends' condominium last Tuesday night when the pair disagreed over whether they should leave the home after the couple they had been visiting with began arguing, Pinellas County Sheriff's Office spokesman Sgt Jim Bordner told The Tampa Tribune in a Monday report. While Velvick wanted to leave the condominium, Bordner told The Times that Delgado wanted to stay, and after the pair got into Velvick's truck they "became involved in an argument which turned physical." "[Velvick] told deputies she started striking him in the chest [while] he pushed her to her side of the truck," Bordner told The Times. Delgado, a 40-year-old Tampa resident, then struck Velvick's mouth -- causing the upper left side of his lip to split, Bordner told The Times. Velvick went back inside the condominium to clean-up while Delgado waited in the truck, which is when Bordner said the forner The Bachelor star called police. While The Times reported Velvick didn't want to press charge and also did not want his injuries photographed, Pinellas County deputies still determined a crime had happened and Delgado was arrested early Wednesday morning and charged with domestic battery. She was booked into the Pinellas County Jail around 12:30AM Wednesday morning and was released on her own recognizance later that afternoon. The domestic battery charge against Delgado is a misdemeanor, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office subject charge report. Alcohol was reportedly also a factor. Delgado and Velvick met during filming for The Bachelor's Fall 2005 sixth-season, which ended with Velvick proposing marriage to Delgado. While the couple has yet to wed and delayed their wedding plans several times, they've remained engaged over the last three years. Ironically, the couple's argument came only about an hour after they made an appearance on ABC's Tuesday night broadcast of The Bachelor: After the Final Rose. The special, which was filmed last Friday in Los Angeles, featured eleventh-season bachelor Brad Womack attempting to explain his reasons for rejecting both of his final two suitors -- DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft -- during the Monday night broadcast of The Bachelor's eleventh-season finale. During the special, Delgado and Velvick said they planned to wed next November.
DeAnna Pappas is the current new Bachelorette. http://abc.go.com/primetime/bachelorette/index?pn=index I watched some of it Monday. The guys look a bunch of dweebs.
I watched it too. I couldn't stop laughing when that karate guy kicked the orange off the other guys head.
I missed that part but I did catch the part with that guy in his underwear with her name. Talk about attention w****. I was expecting to see a better group of men for her but I guess they want ratings. I don't think any of them is handsome at all, maybe only that black guy. No hispanics. Wait, maybe that Jeremy is hispanic, I saw that he spoke Spanish to her.
Yeah she got a whole lot of losers. My mother-in-law picked Jeremy as the guy she wants to win. There was a crazy guy who didn't get a rose. He ripped of his shirt and his chest was covered in pimps (probably from steroid use). I think there are three or four semi-attractive. Jeremy and two guys who look similar to Jeremy and that guy with grey hair. He's 31. After my husband reads this I won't be allowed to watch it anymore!
Final night going on right now. I say she's going to pick the guy with the kid. My clue was when both guys said they loved her she didn't look the long haired guy in the eyes.
I don't think it had anything to do with the kid. She came across as more of a free spirit type of girl and jesse was similar.
She came across to me as an extremely boring person, which seemed to fit better with the extremely boring guy with the kid.
You dudes actually watch this??? JK I was pretty surprised that she picked Jesse...I think she was going for different from what she had in past. I was so sure she would pick Jeremy but I guess not! I don't think Jesse and DeAnna will last when excitement wears off and he'll be just this dude that snowboards...I didn't see any physical chemistry between them like Jeremy and Jason. It didn't seem like she was over Brad because his name was mentioned soooo many times in the series. Who knows? They may have same success as Trista and Ryan who have a cute baby boy.
My wife is obsessed with just about every reality show, so I end up having to watch many of the episodes with her, or least parts of them. I wouldn't watch it otherwise (though there are some other reality shows that my wife has gotten me hooked on).
Oh yeah AND I cannot believe it last THREE hours! No mole! I think the mole is the old guy who went crazy over his book.
Is there no hope of finding true love on tv anymore? http://tvguide.sympatico.msn.ca/The...rticles/080612_bachelor_breakup_BB.htm?isfa=1 'The Bachelor' is a bachelor again By Brian Bento 2008-06-12 Matt Grant moves into bachelor pad ... alone According to BuddyTV, seeking-love-on-reality-TV Bachelor Matt Grant is single again. Grant, who chose Shayne Lamas as his heartthrob at the end of this season’s Bachelor, has moved into his own apartment. The couple moved in together at the end of the show but apparently things didn’t end happily ever after. "She asked him to leave her apartment in Studio City," an insider told In Touch. "They’re just pretending to still be together to save face for the show." And pretending they are. Grant talked to In Touch about the reason for his move to a new crib. "I was at her place for a few weeks, but it was a small apartment. It’s obviously a testing time for us as a couple, so it just seemed that it’d be great for us to have our own little space. We didn’t want to be on top of each other early on.” Like you weren’t on top of her as soon as the cameras stopped rolling. Just admit that the honeymoon phase is over, along with the celebrity shine that made you so attractive to the ladies. Well almost all the shine. The reason for the possible separation is that Grant was flirting with another lady. “It doesn’t mean we were doing anything, you know what I mean? She’s allowed to have her friends and I’m allowed to have mine — the trust is there,” said Grant. Unless you’ve hopped shows and gone from The Bachelor to Swingtown, those kinds of friends aren’t allowed when you’re in a relationship.
^ I guess there is no hope... You know, I actually caught part of the wrap show where the pappas girl choose the snowboard dude vs. the guy with the kid...it all seems fake to me but I don't watch these shows religiously...She was alright but seemed high maintenance...
