Are you tired of the Rockets one-on-one offense?

I love our offensive strategy, set a pick or straight up one-on-one with CAT or Steve. Everytime the Rocks run a play it appears to be the same as the last.

Give the ball to Mobley watch him either shot a jumper with a hand in his face, fade away for a difficult shot, or drive to the bucket (his best choice or Steve, dribble, dribble, dribble some more, (shot clock is winding down), and pass to anyone for an off balance shot.

Let's not forget "I drive and miss a layup" Kenny Thomas, this CAT is great for getting to the basket and missing.

Am I the only one tired of watching one-on-one ball all night long?

I've been tired of watching since we went on that fifteen game losing streak.

It's one thing the opposing players always mention in postgame interviews: "we've never seen so much one on one basketball from another NBA team". It's kinda sad, because it's more exciting to watch, heaven forbid, that Texas team to the north on offense. Hopefully we will be better next year when Maurice Taylor comes back at 50% and Glen Rice comes back at 75% and Walt Williams is NOT resigned.

Calvin Murphy needs to shout "Quit playin' with the ball!" a lot louder. Who knows, maybe they'll hear it and for once make a fundamental basketball play instead of the usual.

If you watch tape of the All-Star game again, you can really see the difference between the offensive mindset of all the other great players, which is a reflection of their respective teams, and the mindset of Stevie, the lone Rocket we had out there. The action moved along at a good pace until Steve got the ball. Then all of a sudden, Rocket-ball ensues the game looks like it comes to a screeching halt. He sits there and holds the freakin ball, staring down his opponent. What is he trying to do? If you're gonna do something, just freakin do it! What's with the stare-down? Heck, even when Kobe hogged the ball, at least he did something with it. In that way I thought that the All-Star game epitomized the Rocket offense.

We suck. Bad. Good job Steve, nice joob missing a chance to get help with your migraines for this.

I am a long time and avid rockets fan and it pains me to say this but i am also tired of the 1 on 1 offense. The rockets guards and forward are not nearly long enough (basketball wise) or talented enough to play this way all the time like they do every game. You would think that RT would make adjustments but he is loyal to a fault. kobe or mcgrady could not succeed in this 1 on 1 offense but we continue to play like we have and unstoppable 1 on 1 players going 1 on 3 or 4 most times.

I'm a broken record but I should have just agreed with Dallas Rocket again. We are not playing one on one, we are playing one on five!

When they're hitting their shots yeah, but when they're shotting back, NO! That's when they suppose to pass the ball around and look for the open man.

The 94 Rocks were sooooo boring too. I mean, pound it into Dream and watch him kick it out to hit the open J.

And those damn Jazz guys. Same 'ol story. Pick and then roll. Over and over and over.

Man, those repetative offenses just suck. Let's run a different play each time down the court and hope they can remember it. ;)

Repetition isn't our problem. Execution is.

    'Dallas Rocket with the 3....SWISH!'

I'm also tired of the 'matador' defense and Steve being the best rebounder on the team, but that's for another thread I suppose.
