Remember, no PBP in these threads and keep the chatter on topic (if it is about something other than this series, talk about it in another thread).

    Awfully confident, aren't we? :p

Well, if these games don't get rained out (possibility) expect plenty of runs to be scored on both sides. The Pirates are finally starting to swing the bats well and record runs, its just the catch is they allow the second most runs in the league.

Lucky for you guys you're facing the bowels of our pitching rotation with Dumatrait, Snell & Van Benschoten.

    BOOOOOOOOOOO
Well, at least you're not a Br*ves fan.

Oh, and LLL. The Astros snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and heroically claim sole possession of the cellar.

Real Astro fans might want to consider rooting for them to lose so that the front office and owner get the picture that it is time to take our lumps the next 3-4 years in order to field a team that can win a title not just a team that might go 500 with a few patches here and there

You are the enemy. Sour grapes or no, there is no rooting for the likes of the Cubs, Cardinals, Dodgers, Phillies, Mets, or Br*ves in Astroland.

    Especially the #$** Br*ves.

Nothing personal, but the only way I root for the Cubs is if the play the Br*ves. Then it's like the 1992 election: the lesser of two evils.

Runelvys Hernandez is painful to watch. It's hard to believe that he was ever the opening day starter for an MLB team.

He makes Jose Lima look like Tom Seaver of the 1970's.

Hernandez just needs to go back down to AAA after this...or maybe AA.

Holy Cow. Hernandez has allowed 17! baserunners (and counting) in under 4 innings.

I'm not quite on the gut-the-team wagon yet....but whatever happens, I hope to never see about 2/3 of this pitching staff ever again after this season, along with Dewey Robinson.

How often do you see a pitcher even left in long enough to give up 10 runs? 6,7, 8 runs yes, occasionally. But double digits? Damn!
