I'd probably watch the Indiana game just to see how it would have been with B. Rush on the Rockets.. Then the Rose vs Beasley match-up would be interesting.

I am so desperate for basketball I am going to watch here while I work. Keep me distracted. The games start at 3pm ET.

How does that thing work? I'm very confused at how we're supposed to actually sign up and watch these games... Beasley and Rose sounds very interesting.

That and the OKC-NBA logo make me sad.

I don't think you have to sign up. I think if you are an nba.com member it will just show you the watch live link when the broadcast updates.

I didn't look to see, who is the Magic Summer League coach?

Hint: Used to be with Rockets. His son just got drafted.

    Further hint: nostrils.

We should call that logo "the franchise formerly known as the Sonics"

They shouldn't have a name.. just a symbol.

Out of protest, I'm just going to call them the Oklahoma Cities.

    Go Cities Go!

    Got your symbol right here:

By the way, Courtney Lee and Brook Lopez are in this summer league. These two and Brook's bother Robin are nicely adding to what Bill Simmons calls the Lindsey Hunter All Stars (current members: Lindsey Hunter, Tracey McGrady, Andrea Bargnani).

Are these games going to be On Demand also or are they only going to be shown live? Maybe I should read the info on the link in the first post....

I read in one of the blogs that online is the only place you can watch them. I don't remember which blog though.

weak the "seattle" team usually participated in the vegas summer league I was hoping to see Russell play again up close.

it would be great if all the teams just played in one summer league and make it longer than two weeks make it a month or so, all the teams participate. it would give coaches a better chance to work with players and see which "walk-on" players actually could make the team. I dont think the 10 days (at least vegas league) is really a good time frame for a coach to evaluate maybe a walk-on player on the team if he will make it or not.

has the rockets officially released a roster yet? i know there was one posted off a different website but i dont think the rockets have officially released it. still hoping landry and novak play (i dont think landry will though with his knee)

Some of the teams in the Orlando league are playing in both I think. Maybe "The team formerly known as the sonics" (dang that's as annoying as the Prince thing) is in both. Lemme go look.

Oh.. and Yoyo.. I'm not coming to Vegas. Dad bought a new car instead. (How rude!)

Edit: Nope... no Seattle wannabes in the Vegas league...

It also appears I was wrong.. the ones in Orlando are only doing Orlando. I agree seems kind of silly, to have two different ones.

Edit 2: The only summer league rosters officially posted: http://www.nba.com/summerleague2008/vslnews08.html

Does anyone know if the games can be watched later today after they've finished?
