    absolutely incredible.

i'd say both of these guys are lucky to be in a 5th set.

seemingly flawless tennis since the delay.

Even if Federer loses this match, he is still a champion. This brings back memories of the Borg/McEnroe matches.

Tennis at its best. Both guys are just amazing. Federer clutch in that tiebreaker. Should be a great 5th set.

If nadal comes back I would be shocked. This was a nick anderson-esque choke job.

Oh don't try and cover up those 'Fed is choking' quotes -- you and cardpire were WAY off.

Enjoy the 5th set guys.

Woooooow. Best... final... ever. They both seem pretty nervous. Federer's 1st serve is pretty off today.

That passing shot by Nadal late in the 4th set tie-break was amazing.

Why does anyone else play? These two are so good, it's odd that one of them has to be #2. More like 1a and 1 b.

as soon as i turned it on at 6-4 6-4 4-5 and saw it was rain-delayed, i knew federer was gonna friggin' come back and win, probably with tiebreaks. the great ones just always seem to catch breaks when they need them.

was federer really down 2-5 in the 4th and still won (edit: oh 5-2 in the tiebreaker)? so nadal could've served out and didn't? what a shame. can't see any way federer doesn't win at this point.

He did choke. the rain delay helped him. Rafa had a slight hiccup enough to let Fed back into that 4th set tiebreaker. DF'ing at 5-2. Slight chink in Rafa's armor

Another thing is Fed hasn't had a break point since the rain delay. Maybe it's better he doesn't. He's going to need it though. NO tiebreaker in the 5th.

Federer was down 5-2 in the 4th set tiebreak (with Nadal serving), not 5 games to 2.

Replay was first implemented in 2006, coming to Wimbledon in 2007.

I'm cheering for Federer, but I like Nadal's chances a tiny bit more at this point (2-2 now).

I am cheering for Federer. I hope he wins. But Nadal is earning my respect.

    547 (cardpire) + 3259 (biggie) + 5193 (rockbox) + 4297 (me) = 13296 posts

    against KingCheetah's 12000+

thus we (the choking believers) win over the non-joking believers.

    you have been defeated sir.
