well this is something relate to the Rockets, and hmm.... o yea the Celtic were champions and they have their big 3s. they have a defense presence and a inside threat in KG, they have a shooter in Allen, and they have some1 take it to the rack like Pierce. it is simliar to what we have, yao to kg. but i personally belive that if Tracy was on the Celtic and Pierce was on the Rockets, both team wouldnt be able to accomplish the thing they did respectively. Pierce cant help the ROcket win 55 and Mcgrady cant help the Celtic even reach the Final. what are ur thoughts on that
yao is nothing like kg...both play totally different games. IMO kg>yao...Ya I said it now go ahead and flame me
i guess if Yao decided to start b**** flailing his arms in the air and chest pumping after every play it would make him a better player
I hate KG...the guy used to be my favorite player when he was in Minny, but once he went to the Celts I started hating him for the exact reasons u just stated, but that does not change how good of a NBA BASKETBALL PLAYER he is
Yao is not kind of player that yells everytime he dunks the ball, he doesnt show his emotion that much cuz hes asian. and yao is better KG.
You don't like KG cause your jealous of his success and cause they beat the rockets. I'll admit, I also dont like KG as much as I use to. But lets be honest, we all know we would LOVE to see Yao show some emotion and bang his chest like hes a freakin G. It would motivate him, the team, and the crowd.
KG is a better defensive player than Yao. But Yao is more dominant in the offensive end. He might be slower than KG but Yao has better footwork and moves.
i dont think thats the point of this post, the point is that if Pierce and Tmac swap team, they wouldnt be able to achieve the things they did with their team. the rockets wont reach 55 with Pierce, and Celtic probably wont even reach the final with Tmac
I don't mean to be a jerk but what facts or evidence do you have to back this claim up? All you're doing is stating a left field opinion for no reason. I could state my opinion that MJ could have won 15 titles if he didn't drink Gaterade. My claim has about as much validity as your's.
I used to think Pierce was better. He might be. Pierce is tougher, more aggressive. With that said... Celts could win 70 (in this era) with a healthy McGrady over pierce.
I think Yao is the better offensive player, but KG is a bit better defensively but neither is superior over the other at either end so i say its a tie. Both off share impact on either ends. KG is quicker giving him the edge on defense, Yao is taller and more efficient offensively.
Saying Yao doesn't show that much emotion because he is Asian is so sterotypical. If that's the case why isn't Tim Duncan or any other blacks players on the Spurs showing any emotion all those times they won championships? What was up with Robert Parish he looked darn near dead running up and down the court with that Celtic uniform winning championships. Yao is better than KG now but overall KG is better in his prime than Yao has ever been in the NBA bottom line. KG was once compared to Hakeem kinda similiar to Kobe being compared to Jordan.
Pierce was clutch when he needed to be, though... Tmac hasn't been in those circumstances under that pressure yet.
I am afraid I have to agree, lik not kidding at all At least tat his opponents and da refs will respect and fear him more
Not sure about the jealousy part, besides, I think the Boston management should be the one being congratulated for getting Thibs and those 3 superstars together. Now as for Yao showing emotion, hell yeah we'd like to see Yao screm and bang his chest every now and then. However, even while Yao doesn't show emotion he's still a better player than KG. Yao changes the way the opposition plays. Comparing Yao's defense with KG is like comparing Shaq (prime) to Bosh. As for offense, Yao is just as capable as KG at scoring.. they just have different styles and ways of scoring, that's all.
how good was pierce before KG and Ray Allen came aboard? they've been a bottom dwelling team in the EAST for the last several years. he couldn't even get them to the playoffs before all the new talent arrived. the difference isn't huge.
