I'm a Law and Order freak like a lot of others. Today once again they're having TNT is running a Law and Order Marathon. I was looking at the episode last night on the program guide and they were all 2003 and up, but this morning they've changed. They're gonna be running some of the older ones including at 12:00 my favorite one, "Barter" from 1997. Its an episode that starts out with a hit on a lady, then it turns out it was probably the wrong lady, then the right lady is killed. then they make a connection to a lending business that her and her husband owed money to. I loved this episode.

    anyway, what's some other favorites.

Any one of them with Jack McCoy as the prosecutor...I don't care to much for Ben Stone and I really don't care for the new guy. Also I prefer the ones where Angie Harmon is Jack's second chair. They're all good.

They are always shooting around NEw York, you bump into an L&O filming session a couple of times a year just walking around. They shot on my old block in Alphabet city once (and made it seem like a bombed-out ghetto, lol) and shot at my old office once - Big lawyers in New York w/big fancy offices frequently allow their offices to be used as offices for lawyers on the show as sort of a badge of honor.

Oh and having done a stint of Grand Jury Duty at the criminal courts building recently, I can tell you that the DA offices are much crappier than portrayed on the show. That building is a real pit.
