This thread is a waste of space but if you are going to bring it up at least make some kind of reasonable argument as to why he would choose Houston over the numerous other suitors that will be after him.

Everybody likes James, not just moneyballers.

Everybody ranks James high on their list, not just Hollinger.

Several other teams are preparing for James' free agency. There is much more to it than just having the money to sign him.

James being popular in China has little to do with whether he will sign with Houston. He will be popular in China, and the rest of the world, either way.

I've been running some numbers and I calculated that it would be adventageous for the Rockets to win an NBA championship.

    Morey, get er done!

Oh, and if you don't, you suck.

Morey is stupid if he goes after LeBron. In two years he will be washed up and only a medicore player.

Is it this bad during the offseason to start a thread by saying Morey would love get LeBron?

Overrating Shane Battier is not going to solve our problems. He is a one dimensional defender who can hit the corner 3,that's all. He is a slow moving guy too.Two years later he will be even slower. Yao,Lebron, and Battier is no Championship trio. The most we will amount to a Cleveland Cavalier plus.

If the Rockets management thinks this new trio is going to be the foundation of success like you do they will be doomed to failure.

Do you think we can add in Luther Head, Badiane, and our MLE to sweeten the deal in a sign and trade?

OH, lets just throw in the Houston Comets while we are at it.

    Get it done Morey.

I ran some additional numbers and determined that it would benefit my family if my boss gave me a 600% raise which would allow me to afford a house in River Oaks.

Hey, people are talking about Gilber Arenas, Corey Maggette, etc. coming to Houstion this offseason, when the Rockets have no cap room. Clyde Drexler was thinking he could talk Rashared Lewis into an MLE deal.

At least I am talking about signing someone when the team has cap room to make a reasonable offer.

And if the Nets and Knicks can talk about getting James, why not Rockets?
He would be a FA, anyone with cap room is in the game.

The Cavs made it to the finals, even if it was in the East. A Cavaliers plus team may be legit.

LeBron should be in his prime at that point, too. There is also no telling who would also be on the team in that hypothetical scenario.

It's not going to happen, either way.
