    Congrats, Juan.

An acquaintance of mine has the same dual-citizenship with Holland. He went back there for the free education.

I wish to all hell I had dual citizenship....

How bout that Richard Gasquet - Andy Murray match at Wimbledon. Gasquet up two sets, 5-4 in the third, and he manages to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

    :)

Anyway, congrats on the edu-muh-cation situation.

Man, that is one TOUGH school in terms of academics. My cousin went there and so did Stuart Holden of the Houston Dynamo. It's also quite expensive.

Good for you and your daughter Juan Valdez.

    Felicitation! Bienvenue à AWTY!
No problem with your daughter not speaking french, she'll pick it on the way. Children have a very surprising faculty to adapt to new languages.

    Congrats again man!

Is it difficult to obtain dual citizenship in another country?

Congrats, I have several friends who went to that school. It seems like an excellent school.

Yeah. For the UK at least, you have to establish permanent residence (and actually live there) for 6 years before you can apply.

Congrats JV! I am sure she will be a star pupil!

Speaking of daughters, mine graduated with her IB diploma from Lamar thanks in part to a post you made a few years back that helped convince her not to quit the program - thanks again. :)

Apparently, my wife can now apply for French citizenship without surrendering her American citizenship because we've been married long enough. That seems to be the way to go.

I'm glad she made it through. I still can't believe something I (of all people) posted here (of all places) actually changed someone's mind about what they should do.
