lame. oh well, not gonna lose sleep over it. goodluck to GG, just hope he plays alot of garbage minutes while the mavs tank the season.
Whatever... I didn't realize he was missing a finger when the Rockets first got him. I am sure it effects him some way or another...
no worries whatsoever. if nobody picked him up after we waived him... then he is a PROJECT. only. if he pans out, good to see a local guy do well. but i wouldn't count on it.
DD must be feeling very ill right about now lol. However I agree. With Rick Carlisle and Mario Elie helping him he is in a good situation.
Sad we never really got to see him do any sick dunks in a ROckets uniform, but I won't miss him. Dunking is about all he could do. GL in Hell.
Who cares, sure the guy can dunk but that is about it. After we gave away Kirk Snyder for him, he play for us about a two weeks before we signed some scrub (I forget his name) to a 10 day contract to take over his spot and dumped him outright. Why would we want him back again to burn a roster spot?
He doesn't think fast or smart enough basketball wise to be effective in a positive way on the NBA level.
Good for Gerald, but I didn't see him having an impact on this team. Hopefully the Hometown boy will be successful in Dallas.
Good for him. I don't know why some of you guys are taking this so hard. At worst, Donte Green will replace what Gerald Green would have given us. At best, Donte Green will actually become a productive player something that Gerald hasn't done for the past 2 teams he's been on. I'm willing to bet on the "at best" scenario happening.
A one year deal? Ok, if he develops we go after him next year..... It also sounds like he needs to get away from his crew in Houston, they are bringing a bad influence on the man. DD
