Perhaps... It would be nice as he could be that physical presence that we would need goin into the postseason.... I'm SO tired of seeing Boozer and the Jazz push us around like we're soft. We need a bully in the worst way and he'd be it!

For now, I guess we need to focus on PG...

It is a bad news for Houston, he would be the best player available for us... but we should look forward and make a push after others fa or just make a logical trade

I don't think it's a bad news as i didn't think houston could get Artest , many other teams are able to give a better contract than houston!

Kings only signed him so they can reap the benefits of the inevitable bidding war that will start near the trade deadline. This time around I wouldn't be so reluctant to part with Brooks.

That's a shame, I was gonna go out to the market today and hoped I could fine one of him.

I hope we don't start bringing guys that are past their prime. I don't know why our gms think that players that were good a few years ago are going to play that way again in a Rocket uniform.
We have had enough of those and none has ever produced anything.

This actually is good news for the Rockets, if they want Artest. No way did they have enough to sign him as a free agent. They can now trade for him straight up (no sign and trade) or have SAC re-do his contract for more money and more years and then trade him to the Rockets. This gives Artest less leverage in picking the team he wants to go to, which would not have been the Rockets because of the money situation. Only problem now is that we will almost assuredly get out-bid by another team with more tradeable assets. I think the only way to land him would be to include Scola in the deal with expirings and multiple draft picks.

    Dorsey.

I think being an "enforcer" is all he will be good for at the NBA level. Then again, six good, hard fouls in the playoffs can be pretty valuable.

everybuddy knows the real reason he chose to stay in sac-town is so he can still collect on his year-end bonus from the local bestbuy
