if these two are gone, that means the only star power left for the clippers are Cuttino Mobley and Smush Parker? :D :D

Charlie Parrilo said Jarvis Hayes might be in play for the Rox, but correct me if i am wrong but wasn't the rockets inquiring about Charlie Villaneuva before the dealine last year? Perhaps he is one that the rox are targeting since milwauke wants to get rid of him.

jackson has no value other than his expiring contract. Sign-and-trades dont work with expiring contracts. We will have to find another way. Maybe an MLE signed landry?

Clippers would never sign decent players to decent contracts...what do u expect man...its Donald Sterling. Oh and Charles Barkley said it too.

we'll give them all the rookies and picks they want...as long as they give us maggette

dont thank thats the case anymore, the MIL get rid of Yi and got Richard Jefferson from the nets, so they need CV now to play at that 4 position.

Villaneuva sounds like a much more realistic addition.

Not saying it can't happen but I highly doubt the other NBA teams are jumping for joy when we offer a combination of Bobby Jackson, Luther Head, and Shane Battier for their all star caliber players.

You hit it on the head i think if we do a trade Landry will be involved. Depending on which team offers him a contract too.

Where are all the people who point try to point out how Maggette won't fit on the team because he is another slasher who doesn't make his teammates better?

It is on several websites that they are eager to rid themselves of him.

Philly is a possibility for Brand as well.

Morey needs to dangle the SnT of Hayes+BJax for Maggette, re-signed at 5 years 10mill per. The Antawn Jamison signing actually helped us a bit, because even though Maggette is younger he did not have anywhere near the kind of season Jamison had last year. I could definitely seeing Maggette signing for 5 years 50 mill.

Because Maggette does close to the same thing and is 2 years younger and will make half as much?

Clippers are also more likely to consider the few pieces of trade bait we actually have to offer.

I'm sure they are,he is their Stro. I don't want him on the Rockets. At best he would be a better Mo Taylor for us.

I would much rather have JR smith i think he would come cheaper as well. Can slash to the hole, play D, shoot the 3, hes fearless.

We need to be realistic here, why would the clippers do this? If that is the best offer they can get, then they would probably just let the guy walk as a free agent.

Please look at aelliott's post in the Landry retaining thread where he mentions that the MLE or any other exception cannot be used for a sign and trade.

words on the street is that Maggette wants to go to the Magic.

Ramunas Siskauskas is an interesting name. If you look for ball handler and shooter, why not look Europe. Interesting profile indeed.

Mickael Pietrus, I think he can play better under Rick Adelman. In fact, his FG% was .488, 3P% was .388 in his contract year 06/07.
