Tech Question: Virtual Drives / XP / Subst.exe

    For those techies out there ... I used to use subst.exe in the old Win98 / DOS-based platforms to create an easier to use developer environment with virtual drives like M: and N: as subdirectories on my main drive. (for example, M: would refer to C:\JUNK\)

    Now, I just upgraded to Windows XP and that old subst.exe system doesn't work. Anyone know a way to do that in XP? I know I could create HD partitions, but that would involve a reformat and that's not gonna happen.

    I think there's a new version of the substitute program on the Windows XP resource kit...
