With the recent news about Shaun Livingston being a free agent, I got bored and decided to look up the video tape of him being injured badly. On youtube, when i searched him up, there was a video compilation of injuries in other sports that look just painful... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QTCBrefXso&NR=1 <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/9QTCBrefXso&hl=en"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/9QTCBrefXso&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
That statement at 2:34 is just awful. How can the author say that...? Is he implying they cause this? Just silly to say that.
There once was a day when I couldn't watch an injury compilation like this from start to finish without looking away. Then I saw Pain Olympics. Now these injuries barely register with me.
I still remember watching the McGahee injury with my friends and their dad, who was a doctor. We asked him what his diagnosis was after watching the injury in slow motion. His immediate response: "That's a ****ed up knee."
