I was gonna say "wait til you have kids", but I think you've got it. They'll change your perspective on alot of things, a small one being movies.

It was OK. But compared to previous Pixars movies, it didn't measure up. Pixar has high standards to live up to and at some point their movies had to decline. I bet if you took a poll of people who have seen all of them, nearly 1/2 would choose Cars as being the downward turning point.

Kids don't care for cars, they want fuzzy cute animals, or robot ET.

Great, great movie. Pixar is extremely creative and I thought WallE was one of their best.

Any social commentary didn't seem heavy handed at all to me. Was more the backdrop to the love story, and I think it was well done.

A couple of things. Kids dont want talking cars? Well, my 2-year old neice thinks McQueen and Mater are the greatest.

Second, I took her to this movie today and thought it was fantastic. I didnt think it was too preachy, I thought it was wonderful. Not in my top 3 Pixar movies, but up there in the top 5. I gotta watch Ratatouie again when I go back to my brothers place.

I'd rank Pixar's movies like this:

    1. The Incredibles
    2. Nemo
    3. Toy Story 2
    4. Wall-E
    5. Ratatoioe (sp)
    6. Toy Story
    7. Monsters, Inc
    8. A Bugs Life
    9. Cars

I just got back from watching this with my brother and sister. I liked it, but they not so much. I think it was the lack of dialogue between robots and at time it did seem slow but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Very very cute.

Extremely screwed up list no offense, you NEVER put the original toy story or monsters inc that low :(

And not to offend anyone Cars was mediocre, it wasn't as good as PIxar movies are supposed to be like someone pointed out.

Maybe if you like NASCAR you'd be more likely to like Cars? I mean wasn't Larry the Cable Guy one of the voices? I'm sure he got the job because of his oozing talent.

I love Pixar flicks and I fell asleep twice trying to watch it. Do not want.

Took my 4 yr. old today and I loved it. It was a little slow at times and the lack of communication at times was a littler weird, but it was a great film.

Saw Wall-E yesterday afternoon with my 8 year old. She loved it and so did I. It is a movie that I could watch over and over again and never get tired of. If you love sci-fi movies, you'll love this one!

Took my nephews to watch it. Kinda sucked cause we came a little late and uh...didn't get good seats. So we were snubbed with sitting in the front. The 5 year old slept through it, but the 7 year old loved it alot. Great disney movie.

Saw it earlier today. It would not surprise me if this film became a dark horse contender for an Oscar next February. I think the combo of Pixar's quality over the years + eco-friendly message will = votes.

For the record, my 3.5 yr old was enthralled with this the entire time. My 6.5 yr old liked Kung Fu Panda better.

I suppose my biggest beef with Wall-E was the over-reliance on the 2001: Space Odyssey homage. It was a little to integral to the resolution of the plot, and speaking of, just hitting what was essentially an 'off' button seemed like a little bit of an too-easy way to wrap up the story.

This was a great movie. It can be enjoyed on many levels. It can be enjoyed as a kiddie flick; It can be enjoyed as a commentary on american consumerism; it can be enjoyed as a movie on pollution. Compared to wanted this was a great movie.

the movie was average at best. i dont see how anyone could say it's a masterpiece or worthy of an award. like another poster said, just because the movie had social commentary, doesnt mean it's a great movie.

it was boring, predictable, and cheezy. great animation though.

I hate NASCAR and loved Cars. Why do so many of you rank it so low?
