I've been on this site for years now, previously under the name DaryleWard. I still have fond memories of cooking some killer ribs at the flag football game sans football. Well I just wanted give everyone an update on what I've been doing and what I will be doing soon. I've been working as a Banquet Chef for the past 4 years at Moody Gardens. Its been a great time. It's been 4 of the best most productive years of my young life. I have lost 115 lbs, am in amazing shape and gained some great life experience. My life is about to take a dramatic change of directions within the next few months. This Wednesday I will be sworn in as an enlisted Navy recruit. I am going to basic training in August in Great Lakes, IL. I am going in as a (CS)Culinary Specialist. I am a sailor first and a cook second. But Lord willing one day I will be a Chef in the White House. I love my Rox and will no doubtedly miss many games the next few years. I will keep cheering them on all over the world. And one day here soon they will bring back the championship to Clutch City. Just wanted to let ya'll know I will be less frequent poster than usual. Take care, all of my fellow Clutch Fans! Go ROX!!!
Were those the ribs with the orange marmalade style sauce, or something similar? Those were awesome. (Or am I remembering something completely different? It was a football game at Clear Lake Int that no one showed up for, not even the football. Right?) Good luck at sea, and keep cooking. You have a gift.
