To stop Boozer, your arms need to be long, strong and quick. None of our Players were like that until now, Dorsey fits the bill on all of them, and I think he could possibly give Boozer, a TON of problems.

Dorsey's more of a weakside shotblocker. He seems to have all the tools, though, to become a good post defender with good coaching if he applies himself.

And if need be, we could just have him tear Boozer's arms out of their sockets.

Boozer didn't do much against us in this year's playoffs. Mutombo, Landry & Scola did a GREAT job against him defensively. The guy that killed us was Deron Williams...Dorsey will help us give us that nastiness along side Yao & Tmac we desperately need.

Perhaps you haven't been around the board the last 24 hours. Joey Dorsey can just stare at Deron Williams and make him pee in his little Jazz pants all the way back to the lockerroom. Joey Dorsey will DESTROY ALL!!@#!$#*(!)#&4

I feel like all the undersized bruising PF in the league are going to have trouble once Dorsey gets adjusted to the NBA. He is strong, quicker and more athletic than Chuck

    Boozer
    Al Horford
    Kenyon Martin
    brand
    Haslem
    David Lee
    Al Jefferson

I know I have named many amazing players, but if Dorsey is what we he is supposed to become which is a big bodied Wall then Boozer has some trouble ahead of him.

Add Gasol, he really struggles vs strong, physical players.

One of the reasons Boozer didn't do that much was because he had to guard Scola. When Boozer tries hard on defense, it hampers him on offense.

So is he 6'9" or 6'7"? I've seen both measurements given.

I don't know much about the kid other than what I have read here and watched on youtube. The kid looks like a Artest/Ben Wallace clone with 25yr old Barkley athleticism. I'm speaking of his physique and aggression only. Is that somewhat accurate?

    Me, Joey getting angry....

When Dorsey gets angry or peeved, the guy is absolutely amazing on the court. He just needs a spark to get that fire going.

I think Yao, Tracy, and Scola and keep that spark lit.

So he's 6'7 1/2 IN SHOES? I was hoping he was gonna be like Landry, who measured 6'7 barefoot, 6'8 3/4, in shoes. That just sucks.

Before Dorsey can scare anyone he has to stay on court i.e. get out of foul trouble. If he can stay out of foul trouble, he'll be an amazing defensive presence.

The difference is that Dorsey has a much bigger wingspan than Landry. Landry's standing reach was 8'6.5". Dorsey has a 8'11" standing reach despite the shorter height.

But we can't always count on Boozer's turndown. We need to stop him even he's in his best moon.
