I've seen the screens, this game looks fantastic. Any chance of some Easter Eggs like hidden characters? I may buy a 360 for this game.
JusBleezy.. THAT'S HERESY!! Street Fighter was born in the arcades, not on the stupid SNES pad which made everyone play the game wrong. Plus you take even matched players control pad vs arcade stick. Arcade stick always wins. there are certain moves and combos that are much easier with an arcade stick.
The screenshots for this one look pretty sharp. Probably going to DL the actual version when it arrives.
I always enjoyed SF on the PS/SNES controllers. The Marvel vs titles are the only ones I felt I couldn't adapt to without the arcade joypad. The combos were so all over the place. Launch the opponent, then hit basically every button possible in the right chain.
Yup. 360 controller is the best controller out there for shooters, but it sucks balls for fighting games. I'll wait for it on PS3.
and the ps3 controller is any better? please. REAL STREET FIGHTERS have arcade sticks, so this 'i'll wait for the ps3 cause the xbox controller isn't good for street fighter is stupid. if you have a PS3 and you are a street Fighter, you buy an arcade stick. right now I have that Hori Stick, but maybe down the road I'll pop some decent money one of the custom made ones i posted above. doesn't matter drexler22, what system we play on, its the same result you get the same screen when you play me: i'll beat you with an atari controller.
Yeah, I've heard this everywhere and to be blunt, I don't care. The first time I played the game was on the SNES when I was 6 or 7. That's how I learned to play Street Fighter and 2D fighters. Mortal Kombat too! I don't care at all if others played it when they were 11 in the arcades, I didn't and that is all that matters to me. Secondly, I'd love to play someone on here with the arcade stick, preferably you so I can disspell that or at least show it doesn't apply to me. Let me know!

Heh, I'd be on right now, but I don't play 2D fighters on Live. Everything but the 2D fighters. Maybe another time, on the PS3. Can I do any of that with a SNES pad? I wouldn't know because I haven't played on an SNES pad in many years. You a regular on Shoryuken.com?
dude i only have an xbox360, not going to buy a ps3 unless its really cheap. you're the exact opposite. everyone who plays 2d fighters is on xboxlive.. that's because that's the only console place you can play it. 2d fighters you can play on xbox live guilty gear x sf2 hyperfighting ssf2t sf3 street fighter 2hd beta i've posted before on shoryuken.com but its been awhile. maybe someone wrote about me, i'm clutchcity93 keep in mind, that people have been play 2d fighters on live since xbox 1. there are many ranked players who play in tournaments compete on live too. you should at least download commando 3 so you can play the beta! oh i had this argument ALONG TIME ago about pad vs arcade. let's just say pad players got beaten with any type of controller vs yours truly! and no, throwing isn't cheap. people who can't do reversals just suck.
Yup. 'Cept for me it was the Genesis, and I was older than that. Couldn't possibly care less. And yes, the PS3 controller is easily better than the 360 controller for fighting games. Probably true. But that has nothing to do with controllers, you've just played it a lot more than I have. I'm a SF2 middleweight. However... if we played Capcom vs. SNK 2, Ryu wouldn't be able to save you from this man:
tinman, I don't care what other people do. I know what I'll do. My friends and I usually play in person on the PS3. Capcom vs SNK 2 for the most part. Secondly, dude I'm a gamer. I know what 2D fighters on the 360 and Live. I've had a 360 longer than any of the other current gen systems so no list needed. In fact, I'm really thinking about DLing the new Guilty Gear on Live Originals, but the HD space requirement blah blah. No, no one has posted about you or anything. You just sound like a guy that would be on there, posting Youtube videos saying can you do this and all that. I'm really thinking about the beta, but like I've said, I've waited this long for it. I can wait until it is actually out for the PS3. I was really looking forward to this coming out the end of last year and the beginning of this year. At this point, I'll just wait until the actual full version comes out. I'm definitely not going to argue with you over what is and isn't cheap, but the only thing I really consider cheap are unblockable, infinite combos. Long as it isn't that, then it's legal. Why would someone consider a throw cheap? I don't get that at all.
